Why do Christians who identify as Republican think they have to agree with everything Republicans

Say? I understand many Christians vote Republican because Republicans tend to be anti-abortion, but why do they agree with what Republicans say about gun control, accepting refugees and other matters, especially when Republicans do not have a Biblical view on a subject?

True. I find it disturbing that Christians will defend whatever Republicans say, because somehow it has come that Republican = Christian. If Christians would actually look at their Bible they would see this is not true!

Yes, your response was spot on!! I think leadership in our country has been eliminated and we have no real leaders, only those who do think of themselves. Shame, shame, shame.

I was mostly wondering about Christian Republicans. There seem to be those who think conservatism = Christian.
