Two BIG problems... the majority of politicians do not serve the people. they serve the lobbyists, they serve corporate and wallst... the people come in a distant second, and get the scraps.
The goal of politics for the past 20 years or so now... has been to deceive the people, to convince them that one party or the other is to blame, that one party or the other caters to their interests. But that's all BS.
They make the appearance of not getting along... all the while Trade laws like NAFTA and CAFTA are destroying our country, and millions upon millions of illegal aliens swarm into out country, and when you have open borders and a progressive welfare state....
Businesses get their cheap labor, the illegals get 'free' medical and foodstamps, etc. and the taxpayers pay the freight both in taxes, lower wages, and less jobs.
Sure they may do the jobs no one else wants to, but they do all the building and construction for the major/national construction companies that build all the new housing developments going up everywhere. They take factory jobs and plant jobs, there are many jobs Americans would be happy to do if paid a living wage.
Its why EVERYONE is out to get Trump... he is truly the people's candidate, he is not on the take, he sees what is going on, and he tells people... he is blunt about it.
Which brings us to the GOP... they 'represent' the anti-abortion, very Christian right... would that be correct?
And the Dems they represent the pro-abortion, pro-everything but the white guy left, and socialism... is that right?
Problem is the other 75 PERCENT of Americans don't fall into those extremes... they are more or less middle of the road, and their primary concern is paying the bills, having a future, the kids having a future, and being left alone and not constantly interfered with by the government.
Neither side really represents the 75 percent, they give lip service to the middle class all the time, while they pass one law after another that screws them over and screws the country over.
That is what you really have in America today... neither side, with their 'establishment' backed candidates is going to change anything for the better of you, me, or our Country.
The only thing we can do is vote them out... if they all hate Trump... if they all want Trump stopped... that to me is the clearest sign that he is the best choice we have had in our lifetime.
