I think my answer is obvious, Lee Harvey Oswald. I don't believe in a grand conspiracy. Oswald was just a nut and loser. If you listen to experts, the shot from the 5th floor window was not that hard for someone trained like Oswald (or who spent time using the rifle a lot). Even the "magic bullet" theory has been scientifically-proven to be correct.
The Jack Ruby question is another matter. I really can't explain him. I know his brother claimed he was trying to be a hero, but I don't know a lot of strip club owners who would sacrifice their own lives for anything. A death sentence was almost a certainty. His statements to the Warren Commission were odd. Why didn't he just come out and say he did it to avenge the President's murder? People would have rallied to his defense. Instead he begged them to interview him in a secure location (which never happened) and gave vague answers in his initial interviews.
My own opinion: Ruby was embarrassed that Oswald was seen at his club a couple of weeks before and was pissed about the assassination, like everyone else. I can't see the mob using a nut case like Ruby as a "fixer."
Jack Ruby didn't die in jail, the body was never shown nor was anything said about a funeral, he was a Dallas CIA operative in place for such a plot to look like someone not of the conspiracy. Orlando, FL is another example of one.
It can not be said by the general public who killed JFK, the published lie is Lee Harvey Oswald but that is exactly what it is, a lie.
If you asked "Why Was JFK Killed" and look over the many things he did those calling themselves "the power that be (TPTB)" would be that answer because he protected the dollar with silver keeping the Federal Reserve from printing money to glance their books, he refused a plot allowing the pentagon to destroy Cuba, he refused to escalate Vietnam, and a couple of other things TPTB ordered done.
My best guess is, since the 2 bullets hitting him's angles were to low for it to have been Lee H. Oswald in the depository, thus, it was arranged by "the Industry-Military-Cmplex" and carried out by the CIA.
I think the tie between LHO and Guy Bannister is too obvious not to come to a conclusion exactly like yours or one very similar.
"glance their books" should read "balance their books" I didn't catch, sorry.
Also, we never saw Jack Dempsey's body, Oswald's killer, being removed from jail or heard anything about a funeral, thus, identity changed and back in CIA service he went.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who wanted to impress the Communists and become a famous revolutionary
The shots DID NOT come from the observatory disallows that to be the correct answer. News media is controlled by TPTB so they reveals what TPTB want the masses to believe. CIA is a master of lies and fabricating illusions of deception.

So I watched the Oliver Stone movie JFK last night for the first time. What I'd like to know from the experts is how did you view this film? Do you think it is well done and provided a good background or is it misleading? I don't know enough about all of the conspiracy theories (yet) to make a...
