Cops are not hunting down and killing black people as Black Lives Matter alleges.
Blacks ARE committing a disproportionate amount of crime, murdering people at several times the rate as hispanics and whites.
A child born out of wedlock is two to three times more likely to be arrested, held back in school, become homeless, become mentally ill, become an addict. That is true regardless of race or mother's economic background. The racial disparity is that 25% of white children are illegitimate, while 80% of black children are illegitimate.
When you have about three times as many children raised without married fathers in their lives, you get more crime - and race isn't the factor except the degree to which the black community adopted welfare in the 1960s as reparations and started destroying the black family.

Thomas Sowell, a black economist, has written and spoken about this extensively. Black crime rates were lower and marriage and employment rates higher in the 1950s when Jim Crow laws WERE systemic oppression of blacks - therefore, you can't say problems today are due to systemic oppression, when crime and education stats were far better two generations closer to slavery.

as for the narrative that blacks commit more crimes, understand the narrative and the systemic racism today and to deny that narrativeis blatantly wrong...http://www.huffingtonpost.com/kim-farbota/black-crime-rates-your-st_b_8078586.html

I have to go with what Tamara says it is just when a cop kills a white person it is not on the news as when an African American is.  I remember one time I heard somebody from the Black Lives Matters group say that more African Americans or in prison than people of other races and nationalities.  Well how is that racist since most of these people  are in jail for violent crimes such as rape and murder?  I do have to agree that some are in jail from false charges.  Such as this one man was in jail for something like 20 years and they found out he didn't do the crime after-all this time-they did a DNA Analysis.

There are a few cases where I see where it is justifiable such as Michael Brown trying to go for the cop's gun and there was another man who was high on I think it was on angel dust and he went for the cop.

Other cases are not such as a video of a man with a knife or machete who was gunned down and he was walking away from the cops.

There are other times it is just tragic like Tamir Rice-the 12 year old who had the toy gun.  In that case the toy manufacturer is at fault because the gun looked real.  My daughter and her boyfriend have paintball guns that look at sound like real guns.  When they go to the woods to shoot them, which is about 3 blocks, they put these in backpacks and carry them that way.

Then there was the recent case of the man with the gun permit.  That too was tragic.

I get pulled over about twice a year.  As soon as I pull over I get my wallet and registration out and put it on the dashboard, roll down the window and put both hands on my steering wheel.  I tell them that I have some things in my glove compartment that can be used as weapons-they are tools with razor blades on them which I use for work.  Then if he wants to check I have him go to the passenger side, window rolled down and open it and let him look to make sure there is no gun.

What is your definition of racial profiling.
If a black person is reported as the one that just robbed a 711, should the fact that the person is black be left out of the search for the criminal.

When does profiling come in and good investigated processes end?

If a black person is seen lingering around Beverly Hills in a beatup old car, is it profiling to investigate?

Should the police ignore the suspicious activities of blacks on our streets, just to avoid being called racists.
Many of the police departments do need to better train and equip their police for encounters with the people. To decide good versus bad regardless of race, or color.

Many white people have been killed or severely injured in similar circumstances claimed by "African" Americans. But because they were white they didn't register that much by the media.

what I think is that the Police need better training and equipment, and the minorities need to stop challenging the police in general.

We also need to be more aware of the Gangs in the US especially in the large Urban areas. Blacks killing blacks, Mexicans killing Mexicans and each other just because of gang rivalry and practices.

If a group of young white youths are at a bus stop, and a group of black youth are at a bus stop, and the black youths are automatically labeled as potential criminals, that is profiling.......'

Marc Lee I see what you mean.  Somebody hears about a murder on the news and first thought is that it is an African American
