Is Climate Change the biggest factor in bigger, badder more intense Thunderstorms?

Thunderstorms normally gain most of their energy from solar heating and latent heat released by the condensation of water vapor. So yeah, of course CC is a biggie. But pollution causes an increase in lightning strikes. At the same time, other factors such as rising sea levels, disappearing wetlands, and increased coastal development threaten to intensify the damage caused by hurricanes and tropical storms.
