   If human beings became extinct - would Climate change reverse itself?
   
   Most likely climate change will make humans extinct but I wonder if all humans  - poof!- disappeared in a sci-fi fashion, would that fix the Earth? In 70,000 B.C., a  mega-colossal volcano called Toba blew up and humans almost went extinct. Some say almost down to 40 breeding pairs. 12,000 years ago megafauna went extinct due to humanoids and global warming. So is this a repeat of history or the end of human history? I'm pretty sure the Earth will carry on no matter what unless everybody nukes out simultaneously & cracks the world into pieces.

   No, because it is more closely tied to solar cycles than human activity. The sun spot cycle dropped off to a quiet sun we see now, which is why global warming was renamed to "climate change" around 2000 - we stopped warming.
   Since then, ClimateGate has been the East Anglia University Climate Research Unit and others deliberately suppressing any papers that didn't say:
   * the world is warming
   * people are at fault
   * OMG, it is a disaster, getting ever more apocalyptic
   
   That's how you can have record snowfall and record cold winters and still have various government agencies say every year is the hottest ever.

      Yes, the Milankovitch cycle, where we are supposed to be going into another mini ice age about now. Last one was the Medieval/Dark Ages.

   Take a hike through the Grand Canyon and marvel at rock formations a billion years old. And you can see that the oceans sediment leave sediment millions of years old. Oceans right there 100's of miles from where they are now. Check out Sedona Az. Sediments from seas and receding seas and new seas. Ice ages leaving their marks. Dense jungles that in their demise leave all that crude we now survive on. And just imagine the Teutonic plates moving around. And so many volcanoes that it blotted out the sun for a millennium or 5.
   Global climate change is so cool to the earth and yet so scary for man.
