It's human nature.
Since the beginning of time man has always looked for ways to differentiate himself or his group from others.
Our human ego demands a "pecking order" on just about everything.
Competition, sports, reviews, grades, awards, and surveys are all designed to illustrate this school, person, movie, car, hotels, restaurants, or whatever is "better" than others.
Who is #1? or What is the best? and Why? That's what people seek.
The fallacy is that people want "equality". Not true!
Equality means parity, average, or the same.
The reality is people want an equal opportunity to become "special".
Judging someone based upon the color of their skin alone is as silly as saying a red Audi R8 V10 is "better" than a blue Audi R8 V10.
That makes absolutely no sense!
