How do you define 'ugly people'? How do you react when you meet them?

Everyday we meet people who don't listen, just talk about themselves. People who either turn other way or pretend you are not there when you say 'hello'. People who constantly put you down. People who believe they are better or 'above others'...
Do you think a friendly smile, outstretched hand and piece of friendly advice can change their attitudes?

Most of these people are insecure and affects the way they portray themselves. Its weird what having low self esteem will actually do to someone and how they treat others.

Don't think so, they are who they are because they choose to be!  Trying to use the nice tactic will get you no where.  There really isnt a sole reason for people being the way they are.  You can't use one tactic to try and bury this behavior.  Usually their action are comprised of many reasons that only they themselves can fix.   For me there is no definition---I'd say beat it ya bum!

When I was young I thought ugly meant physically unattractive. But now I know that it means the core inside. For example, someone you once thought was cute looks less and less attractive, when you realize he/she is not a good person. Really not. It actually physically changes the appearance in your eyes. Conversely, someone once thought "ugly" looks more and more beautiful once you realize what a charming philanthropist he/she is. It is amazing how your beauty on the inside really does shine through on the outside. So work on a soul makeover and the rest will follow.

I think ugly refers to how a person is deep down. How they react in situations, and how the treat people. People who aren't "attractive" or "conventionally good looking" could have the most beautiful personality and it illuminates off of them.

Ugly for me are the soul-less people who treat people like commodities and who doesn't care about what people think and feel. I always try to stay away from them as far as possible. I simply ignore them as if they don't exist.

a person who doesnt pay much attention to other is not worth yours because they pay enough attention to themselves for both of you,but i am very against the friendly advice because they will not listen, just hold yourself up and show them you are someone who believes in yourself and doesnt give a hoot about them, they get uncomfortable when they meet self confident people

an ugly person has nothing to do with appearance to me. you may be unattractive, but that does not mean your ugly. to me,and ugly person is selfish. a person that doesn't care for anyone but themselves. a person that doesn't give a crap weather you die or not. someone thats ugly to me is ugly in the inside. if someone is beautiful on the inside,it shines a light on how attractive they really are.

'Ugly people' are those who are nasty, negative, arrogant, self-centered, heartless, etc. Regardless of their physical looks, they have no inner beauty. But, they can receive it if they are willing to change their attitude/behavior.
