What will happen when the world's oil gets over. They have said that the oil will be get over soon tr
We will simply adapt to our environment, as we have for thousands of years on Earth. Once oil is gone, we will find an alternative means of fuel. The technology is there, we just don't use it because oil is so much easier to use (and cheaper).
Environmentalists want you to believe that we are running out of oil. The idea is to scare people into accepting grotesquely expensive alternative energy sources.
Middle Eastern crude that is pumped up at pennies a barrel keeps the cost of oil artificially low. This will end soon. However, at 125 dollars a barrel and still far cheaper than any other source (except nuclear energy), oil will continue to flow well into the 23rd century. By then if we have not figured something else out I am going to be pissed, LOL.

What will happen to global corporations once cheap oil is a thing of the past?I'm interested to know whether most people think the small local business model will prevail in an age of inaccessible oil, or whether conglomerates will have the resources to weather the storm.
