Corzine stole money out of clients accounts and is hit with a mere $5 mil fine. No bankers jailed?

Again, obamama let's another banker walk away from theft and fraud.
Corzine, the old Democrat NJ governor and friend of obamama gets a mere $5 mil fine and is allowed to walk free.
Meanwhile, the customers who's money was stolen out of their accounts by MFGlobal lose their money and JP Morgan get's to keep the clients money that was stolen by MF Global.
But, I'm sure liberal logic rules when it comes to a democrap that steals money, commits fraud and is friends with the DOJ and obamama.
So much for the whining from the left about anything Trump does.
    The Dems support crooks!

Fines should not go to the government, they should go to the victims.
Although $5 million against $1.6 billion would be symbolic.

The problem is bigger than just the democrats, it is politicians that comprise congress. In 2008, the congress and president Bush failed to address the problems in the financial industry. Instead of bailing out the banks and AIG that actually caused the meltdown. They just threw money at them without any conditions. Then when the CEOs of these bailed out financial institutions got the money the first thing that they did was give themselves and their friends 7 figure bonuses.

You don't get a bonus for bankrupting your company, but congress gives themselves pay raises even when the national debt increases, which is equivalent to bankruptcy.

My point is that congress doesn't see the bank failure as anything they aren't doing in congress, except that in congress, they just print more money.

Billionaire Martha Stewart went to jail for insider trading, on one stock, as I recall. Hemsley went to jail for Income Tax evasion. So it escapes logic that Corzine escaped jail.

But there is something to the democrats avoiding prosecution as we have seen with Bill and Hillary Clinton.
Republican pres Richard Nixon erased 17 minutes from a tape recording and was impeached. Democrat Hillary Clinton erased, bleached bit over 30,000 emails that were under government subpoena, then physically destroyed drives and computers that held that information.
Yet, neither the FBI nor the DOJ even indicted her.
    The defense rests. lol
