Your question is not phrased properly. President Trump has gagged US Government Scientists from not directly communicating with the public. He is their boss and he wants control rather than leaks.
Remember all of these years of the government telling us what was and was not healthy, and they still haven't got it right because their interpretation of the science at the time was not valid. We still get government studies instead of tested and true facts.
He is not anti science he is anti rogue and faux science.
As an example of science versus fact.
The Big Bang Theory is a well accepted Scientific Fact by most people, but in reality it is still only a Theory. A theory that was developed from a supposition and an enumerated number of points. Basically stuff happens, and this could be the way it was created. The BBT starts not at the beginning but with imagination using a single point. They don't know if that is even true. But they based the Theory that if there was a single point this is how the universe developed and how we see it today. Even if there was a single point, how was it created, they don't know, how was that single point put into action, to bang, they don't know. How long was that single point in existence they don't know, and time stopped, end of that discussion. If time stopped then what started the sequence to generate the bang? They don't know. Based on the BBT they are baffled by their finding that the Universe is still expanding, at least they think so.
The point is that Science is only valid until a new theory changes the old one. They have no idea what is in space or how it is used, and no one including Einstein has generated the Grand Unification Theory. This theory ties large and small together. And gravity is still an unknown, even though we know gravity keeps us grounded (lol)
Consensus by people, including scientists are not the same as Truths.
We are good at making bad or good things worse, than we are at making things better. What we new in the past has changed significantly in our science of today, and it will continue to change in the future. It is like prescription drugs that interfere with the way the body works, so while the new drug removes or lessens the original symptoms, the body and brain are confused and it produces side effects. Why, because we don't know as much as we need to know to work with the human brain and body.
