Why can't the country come together and realize there is a common, greater EVIL/HATE to conquer?

We are all busy pointing fingers and yelling at one another. Religion is supposed to bring people together. MOST religions practice love and kindness. KINDNESS requires a Greater Consciousness to withstand the EVIL/HATE.

Jay, don't you think that Religion today is the reason why there is rampant Evil across the world. The Sunnis, and Shiites Muslims have been killing each other for centuries. The Catholics had the Crusades and the Spanish Inquisition, The Protestants and the Catholics had the IRA kill innocent people. The Arabs tried to annihilate the Jews and Israel but they lost the battle in the 7 seven day war, in 1967.

If there is only one God, where is he as the world has 100s of different religions. And in the Holy Wars, on which side was God?

Evil in Man has been around since the beginning of recorded history and that is more objective than the writings in any bible.

People are like the scorpion and frog story. It is their nature to be evil. Remember, how many times have you heard someone say, you have to be more evil, as opposed to the saying, you have to be good?

Evil wants us to believe it is inherent. It is a choice, as much as Kindness is a choice. I can choose to be an ass or a nice guy in every situation, no one or thing is forcing me to make that choice.
Yes, evil and good must co-exist for balance. Re

Yay - Evil is the human default state. Using the choose, can be refuted by overcoming impulse. People don't choose to be fat, but they have impulses that are stronger than their will.
the same thing is true of evil. Look at the history of the world

Atheist communism killed 100 million last century, so the problem is ideologies that say "we're perfect, if you don't agree, we can kill you".

This is a reflection of liberal branding - that their beliefs and their beliefs along are good, moral, peace, tolerant, smart. And it lets them demonize everyone else as stupid, crazy, evil.
This makes the phrase "all we need is love" is "everyone has to agree with liberalism". It smears all dissenting views as "hate speech" fit to be censored. Liberals saying "We're love and good" is lazy moralizing that lets them claim these moral titles simply by virtue of their beliefs and enables bullying of people who disagree or outright assault on conservatives and religious people. It is a particularly vicious cycle to say "it is OK to hit a nazi" and then call everyone you don't like a nazi before beating them. But when you have moral branding, any criminal act from assault to death threats are made OK.
This thought pattern actually enables evil. Someone who criticizes Islam's worldwide oppression of women and killing of homosexuals and atheists gets called an Islamophobe, leading to tacit support of the evil acts.

"LIberal" is a label. You're missing the point. Kindness is not weakness. I'm not saying be passive, just stop the labels. We are all HUMAN, no matter the race, religion,non-religion, who you sleep with, etc. None of that matters!!! HATE wins when we

I've watched liberals say "don't label me" and then smear all who disagree with their views as stupid, evil haters. As if calling out Islamic oppression of women is WORSE than the forced marriages, FGM, murder of atheists and honor killings.
