I can't think of one, but I will freely-admit that my brain doesn't always think of everything. Is there any policy - at all - we can not only agree about, but agree on how to acheive the goal? For instance, most of us want world peace - its how to acheive it that differs. Everyone wants fewer abortions, but we differ on how to bring them down: through laws or by rethinking how/why so many of those decisions are made - and reducing them. We all want clean air & water; and we want the Earth to be here for generations to come... You get the point. Are there any SOLUTIONS we can agree on?

so the same would be true with drug use?
Women want to abort the life, yet they don't want to be held responsible for making bad choices. What percentage of abortion is from rape or assault versus the morning after whoops
I really did not mean for this to be about abortion, I was giving an example. Being pro-choice doesn't mean we don't want fewer abortions. Eliminating choice isn't the answer: inspiring good self-confidence & personal responsibility in kids is.
bradmasterOCcal, I never said anything about the topic of Pro-life vs Pro-choice. I simply noted abortions have gone down in relation to the question asked.
FYI- Drug addiction especially heroine and prescription addiction are on the rise.
FYI- Drug addiction especially heroine and prescription addiction are on the rise. Couldn't that also be a reason associated with abortions?
I don't see ACA as being any different than being required to carry car insurance - which, we are for pretty much the same reasons. I agree it needs fixing. Many loyal party voters jumped ship this time on both sides. This election wasn't normal.
There is a big difference. Car insurance has competition, ACA doesn't really have that same kind of competition.
And medical costs can easily exceed car costs.
And forcing people to have insurance takes the economics supply&demand into a monop
MC...making it a law people have to have health insurance to make certain ALL people have health care coverage is like passing a law that ALL people have a home to end homelessness. You CAN choose to not drive. Many people don't.
