I agree with you, and speech that incites riots is also not protected. There is also no freedom of speech in leaking classified information. And should also enjoin the media from distributing it. Yet, this seems to be ignored for the press.
It would depend on what was said to start the riot. Say you said Michigan doesn't suck then you get what you deserve. Isn't leaking classified info treason?
Leaking classified info is a crime, and intent of the leak could be the grounds for making it treason.
