I never understood the left's rage at Trump. I think I may have figured it out.

It all comes down to belief about government's role. Conservatives want less government, few entitlements. We want more independence to solve our own problems. Leftists want more government to solve their problems. When Trump was elected they viewed him as taking away their entitlements. They fear being independent from government. Donald Trump's election took away the heavy hand of government from the left to initiate control over those who disagree with them. Without government leftists have to earn respect and deal with opposing views. In some ways; the left's violence now makes sense.

Jack, I agree with you. Trump is not a conservative or liberal. His decisions are not based on political ideology at all. His decisions are based on what will succeed. The left can't handle his focus on success and not ideology.

The Dems and their move on the 25th amendment was signed off on by Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Maxine Waters as well as Shirley Jackson Lee, (sarcasm alert) all fine pictures of mental health. The Dems need to provide more than theater. You are right!
