Since fortune-tellers and psychics are not considered a reliable source of information---the ONLY source of what the public may ever know about domestic and global events are the media. So, what do we really "know", and what we only "think" we know, if some of their news are false? Aren't we cherry picking all the time according to our political favoritisms?

Thank you. I do have a degree in journalism. I went to the same college as Dan Rather. I also have degrees in English, Spanish, and Medical science. People need to educate themselves and not rely on hearsay.

Mizbejabbers---Not a matter of a "qualification" at all. If you had a degree in political sciences that wouldn't mean that you "know" all that highly classified material which is crucial in understanding political chess game being played.
Basically, we are describing the old saying that you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. Belief has nothing to do with facts. And until people get that through their heads, the arguments will go on forever.

Well, Michael, have you ever heard of conspiracies? When various news outlets report news with the exact details, it could indicate that they have been fed the report. I like to note the slightly different details in coverage from various sources.
Yes ma'am, conspiracy barely works especially in a system of two antagonistic political parties hating each other exaggerating reports above each other so that any honest truth loving person can easy detect a pure lie. One doesn't have to be an exper
