Could we consider cities, the future of the world or the end of it?

I hardly believe that governments should reinforce the policies of green cities. It is estimated that in 2030 more than the half of the world population will live in a city. Leaving the life in the countryside will unbalanced the ecosystem, creating more support for activities that are not friendly with the environment, like the construction of buildings or highways that deter the filtration of water to the underground producing scarcity of resources. Although, modernity is usually visualized with the image of a city with skyscrapers, the future could be doubtful if we encourage this model of
