Before I answer this question, I need to express that Danny Decay is clearly a frustrated WASP. Last time I checked, voting was an American RIGHT, not privilege. His answer reeks of a child throwing a fit because he didn't get his way. If we are going to start revoking voting RIGHTS, then can we please start with every moron who voted for BUSH in 2004? I'll let 2000 slide because everyone is capable of making a mistake. But 2004 was just a clear demonstration of degeneration mixed with hatred, fear, and insecurity. Moving on....
The AA approval rate of the president is NOT a racial component...it's a status one that clearly demonstrates the pride of the AA race.
50% of AA in the USA are incarcerated. And if you'll allow me to refer you to President Obama's Father's Day speech, majority of those who are not incarcerated are living below a 'middle-class' socio-economic status.
Here we have an AA who is president, (I'm still confused as to why he's only referred to as AA when he is clearly 50% black and 50% white - makes just as much sense to refer to him as WHITE), highly educated, financially successful, law abiding, posesses and demonstrates moral leadership. What is wrong with the AA race being proud of this man? He does not represent the current norm. Hopefully, he represents the future majority of the AA race.
I implore all AA to approve of Presiden Obama. Put him on a pedestal and make him the AA 'poster boy'. Here is the key...do not do so unconditionally and solely because he is AA. Should the President falter in an unacceptable manner, then the AA race should judge and critique him on this. If they don't, then it's only fair to say the AA opinion is only based on race. And this will, without a doubt, tarnish the credibility of the AA race.
Thanks for the question!
