I'm afraid there is no easy answer to this one....
One of highest priorities is to get the oil flow stopped.
It is going to take a lot of time and a lot of physical effort. Every environmental agency needs to be involved and coordinated with all the necessary materials in place. Where the oil comes ashore anything absorbant needs to be used to help mop it up and get it taken away.
Thousands of volunteers are going to be required to help.
Stop talking about it, stop the TV showing people in tears on the beach wringing their hands saying somebody needs to do something... Now is a time for action .... Blame can come later.
