wow , harsh first answer .... I do believe , correct me if Im wrong , as I can sometimes be ;) the question was not stone serious ...
I think it is natural for all of us to look - women and men - at the opposite sex. It is just human nature . To do so in front off a spouse or partner is a sign of a lack of respect . It can also be a sign of a lack of self control .
As far as men staring at us on the street a womens reaction may be a sign of where she is at emotionally and mentally . It also depends on the way a man goes about it .
One night I went to pick my bf at a sports bar and went in to find him . A man started to make gestures and point me out to his buddies . As we were leaving ( me and the bf) he grabbed onto my arm after saying "I dont care , I will be that guy ," to his buddies . I shrugged him off with one yank of my arm , to in other words say don't touch and don't mess with me . Many mistake niceness for weakness . I can and will set them straight . There was another guy previously who said " every one loves pink " . It was his way of flirting , saying he noticed me , but it was polite and tasteful unlike the other guy so I was flattered instead of offended .
