Assuming you mean the US (there is more than just North America, after all), not only does the whole world not want to be like us, we don't all think there's something wrong here. True, I disagree with many facets of the government, but love the country itself and at least the part of the culture I was raised with. I know urban and coastal areas are very different than my Wyoming home and I can't speak for them, but what I do know I wouldn't really change. I would also venture to comment on one of these comment, that just because a culture isn't wealth-driven doesn't make it a failed culture, it merely makes it one with different overall priorities. I never really could understand money being a priority above everything, as some people in this country place it, so perhaps that makes it easier to understand a culture that puts family and community above self.
