In short, no. President Obama has temporarily held off the total collapse of the economy with a government spending bubble that may last for another decade. He fought a bubble with a bubble. Financial disaster has been postponed for the next president to handle. But any person of reason will never consider President Obama our best president. It is part of American mythology that after 20, 30, or 50 years, bad presidents will suddenly sprout wings and be remembered as good presidents. Because facts do not change over time, this never actually happens. Although half of the Americans do know something about their history, they are not objective about it and so they do not understand it properly. The rest of Americans have no basic concept of history and forget everything every four years. As a result of all of this, they don't know to whom they can compare Obama after 50 years.
