Do you feel America is on the verge of being hit by another major terror attack?
If so, do you feel it will be by " domestic" or foreign such as Al Qieda or another group?
No, people want for it all to be over too much now, it's time for peace again.
I am sure these terrorist groups are continually planning for a hit.
There are probably some plans in the pipeline.
Hopefully, our government can catch them before it is too late.
I do pray you guys are right. The problem is that some of our not so friendly foreign countries are actually supplying these guys with arms and money. Yes, it is state sponsored and that to me is scary. The other problem is we are starting to see way to many get involved with the " domestic " side of it IE: Homegrown terrorist. This is also very unnerving to me.....Thank you for your thoughts.
I think we live in a world where fear rules over us all. We are continually under threat but depend on a number of elements to keep us safe. Though a number of plots have been exposed and publicised others might have been stopped and kept quiet.
Its not so much a matter of what if, but a matter of when. I just hope nothing on a huge scale happens again, but they are the events that often make the biggest statement.
I feel that economically, job-wise, and debt-wise, America has been under attack since 2007 when the majority positions was gained in both houses of Congress. Since that time, we have seen the national debt hit 14 trillion dollars, the government has grown by a factor of 25%, unemployment rates have more than doubled, the budget process has been ignored, earmark spending is out of control, gasoline is averaging $3.00 a gallon and heating oil will be through the roof on price, we are strapped with a healthcare reform we cannot afford to even implement, we have over 15 million illegal immigrants inside our borders and more coming each day, we have a southern border with Mexico that has more holes in it than a water bucket used for target practice, the price of diesel fuel will create absurd inflationary rises in food costs, the government is now in control of church bake sales and owns the largest car manufacturing company in America and you are worried about another terrorist attack??? Hell, we've been attacked by our own people! WB
I think we are constantly on the verge of an attack by homegrown terrorists and radical foreign groups. I just hope as several others have mentioned, that potential attacks continue to be thwarted by worldwide intel agencies.
I don't think that worrying about it will prevent it from happening or improve my quality of life... so I don't.
No - why so gloomy? Cheer up. It's daylight outside, the birds are singing and if it's raining, you can dance - life is fun fun fun!!!!
Best for 2011.
I choose to not live in fear. I can be struck by lightening sitting in my easy chair at home. If I go I will be living my life, not living in fear of my own shadow.
If you attack someone you shouldn't be too surprised if you are 'attacked' back.
America is attacking foreign nationals - in their own countries - all the time (this includes friendly states such as Pakistan where US drone attacks are driving the populace into the open arms of the Taliban).
Yes there probably will be attacks in America as well as here in the UK and across Europe. If we want to prevent these attacks then we should bring all our troops home and try talking to these people instead sticking to the 'shoot first' policy that we are pursuing at the moment.

forthcoming terrorist strike from our government in the name of Al-Qaida in any of our cities? The fact that the threat comes from the Saudi peninsula and that the Saudi house is our friend, what is the probability for a terrorist act to happen with their complicity on our soil? Remember Sept11, it...
