Agree'd with Wayne and Billy... not just "no" but "HELL no!" Like I've said before, there's two good things I can say for Obama.
1) Skipping right over all the politically correct B.S., I am glad we finally elected a Black president. Now maybe we can get past all the nonsense and try to elect the people that are RIGHT for the job, regardless of color, sex, religion, etc.
2) With that said, Obama's politics are so extreme that it has jarred a LOT of Americans into realizing we've been asleep at the wheel for far too long. So, while I don't agree with anything he's done, I guess waking people up could be considered a "good" thing?
Now, as far as who I WOULD vote for... I honestly have no idea. Like Wayne said, Huckabee seems like a good guy that really does have America's best interests at heart, but like Billy said... I think his biggest flaw is he may be a little TOO nice. He just doesn't come across as "Presidential".
Palin has a lot of good ideas, but I think ultimately, she's so "controversial" that if she were elected, it would just further continue to polarize and divide our nation as the Obama administration has done.
I'd like to think there is some miracle independant candidate yet to be discovered, someone who is NOT a career politician, has not been corrupted by the "toe the line" policies of either party, has the right ideas and a source of income large enough to get his/her message out.
But, I guess that falls into that whole "perfect world" realm... so I guess ultimately, we'll just have to wait for the attack ads to start running and see who the least of all evils turns out to be. Too bad we don't have another George Washington or Thomas Jefferson out there... hell, even a Ronnie Reagan would do!
Maybe we should put a little more R&D into human cloning, see if perhaps there's enough viable DNA material left out in Mount Vernon to... ehh... "make" one, lol.
