   I'd stop the taxation weight on those that can least afford it and start off by expecting those that had the most to distribute their wealth a bit more equally. You don't need a billion or ten to live on in my opinion
   
   I'd bring fuel prices into line - no borders mean no excuses for having one country pay more than another. Food would be shared better, waste would be attended to - as in less of it and incentives to produce less.
   
   And Big Pharma would have to go - along with all the nonsense Governments, chemical giants and health associations spin as a means of levying more money from us - and yet they can't make us better.
   
   But that's in an ideal world huh?!

   Opps, I was just gonna wind and crack this one, but after seeing frogdropping's reply, I think instead of saying what I would do, I'll just say my vote for president of the world goes to her!
   
   Pssst, lots of people would be out of a job, what without foreign affairs office, nor border control, nor import/export professionals.... but then I reckon we could relocate them into domestic affairs, seeing as how the world would be just one country HEHE

   I'd enforce equality worldwide with same rights for every decent person.
   
   I'd develop new jobs and new industries  so there are more options for people out there, plus provide extra training programs for people to have a better chance in getting a job.
   
   I'd make sure that there is compulsory rehabilitation, re-education and re-homing for homeless people and homeless drug addicts.
   
   War would not be tolerated and anybody continuing unlawful warfare would be imprisoned.
   
   More money would be pumped into schools to ensure a knowledgeable society.
   
   Religion would not be a part of government and would not affect any governmental decisions.
   
   Religion would also be taken from schools as it's causing way too much segregation and conflict. It can be taught as a subject, but not control the schooling system.
   
   Proper Taxation would apply to even the rich.
   
   I would designate more land to wildlife reserves and forestry and enforce a non polluting attitude to industries.
   
   Solar panels would be incorporated onto most existing houses and businesses and any for every new building built it would be compulsery.
   
   Oh God the list goes on...

   1. Organize my armed forces
   2. Set up a world governing body
   3. Establish licensing for having children
   4. Make teaching religion to children an offense
   5. Banish any kind of public religious preaching
   6. Tax all religious groups
   7. Enforce birth control by capital punishment
   8. Remove oil and coal production from private hands
   9. Establish universal education standards
   10. Make medical care a publicly funded institution.   Doctors will have their education paid for by government and work for the government.  Private medical care will not be allowed.
   11.  Service to government will be rewarded by bonuses for good work.
   12.  All able bodied persons must serve the government for 5 years of their life.
   13. Set taxes based upon income with no exemptions or write offs for any reason. 1% of all taxes will be held to support the poor and those under a certain level of income will pay no taxes at all.

   I think I will pack my bags and get out of town.  The world is far too large and far too mixed up to have one leader.  People dream of a one world government and one leader...not realistic. We are a world of differences and we cannot rid ourselves of them thus those of us who think along the same lines form countries and governments to administer in the way we believe.  That is the rational of the human being.  The only way we will have a world president is he will get there as a dictator and anyone who so much as thinks out loud differently will be put to death as soon as their are discovered. One can only rule on fear and fear alone in such a vast and sorted empire. WB

   I'd change the title of "President of the Whole World" to "King of the Whole World" - and then I'd get a big crown, and one of those things kings wave around to pronounce things, do magic, and generally create an air of kingliness.  I'd also decree that there were no term limits on the job of being King of the Whole World.
   
   Oh - and then, of course, I'd decree that war and poverty were forbidden.

   I will certainly crush the corrupt leaders and provide ample assistance to needy; in my rule I will wipe discrimination and prejudice, everybody is entitled to freedom.. Let there be equality and love for everyone
   but I will certainly lay that 'crown' in Christ's feet for only He alone can suffice us what we really crave
