Fate of the world: children decide our future, if we let them live.

The world belongs to you, little child...

Dear little one,

My hands have crept inward over the years, I can no longer write. But I can hold a book long enough to read a page or two.

I remember being young like you.

I used to run through the dandelions and meet the neighbors horse at the fence, sneaking apples from the kitchen.

I used to run. Now I lay in this bed. Yesterday the doctor came in to up the dose on my twelve medicines, and move me around out of this bed because I have achy hips and numb feet.

But I did used to run. Like you. I did.

I had big dreams as a child. I wanted to be the President. Then I wanted to invent rocket ships. When I graduated high school I just wanted to make enough money to make a living.

Then I got married too young, divorced too soon, and had three children in tow.

I remember the pain in my children's faces as my ex and I drug them through court, forcing them to take sides.

I remember everything. My body has failed me, but I remember it all still.

Looking at my life now, my task today is one thing, little child: That you will stay a child, and be happy, and laugh as long as you can. That you can run and play and meet new friends and enjoy beauty and nature and long as you can.

I hope you have a good childhood, because when you get to be my age, you never forget being a child. You never forget what you went through or were forced to go through, but my hope for you, as I lay here and die on this bed, is that you will live and be a little child a little longer....

The world belongs to you, little child.

You are dying, but we are killing the future by destroying the children

We can't afford to take this for granted. This having children. This living our daily lives, day in day out, like neanderthals at the becking call of the meat hanging at the cave entrance.

We adults skip along almost greed infested with power and gain, trampling over precious jewels that are waiting to be discovered; priceless treasures that can bring so much value to the world.

But we stomp on them. We rip them apart, in the womb, in the classroom, in churches, in the homes. "Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt." Psalm 35:4

We are killing our future through our children, and we, as adults are dying right along with them. "Thou hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered." Proverbs 11:21

Why are we dying? You may say...

We are not immortal, like some vampire out of a novel or movie, but we sure are sucking life right out of innocent victims.

We are dying second by second, our bodies filling with sickness and disease as each year we grow older. We are skipping along through adulthood to senior citizenship (if we live that long) and right into a nursing home (if that is where our children put us) and straight to the death bed.

The people who exploit children for sex trade, guess what? They are dying too. One day they will grow old (if God lets them live that long) and die right along the rest of us. "The LORD shall laugh at him, for he seeth that his day is coming." Psalm 37:13 In other words...You will reap what you have sown, and your day is coming.

The adults who abuse and murder children? Yea. They are dying too. "For there is no reward to the evil man: the candle of the wicked shall be put out." Proverbs 24:20

Daily, life is wasted as adults squander what time they have here on earth exploiting innocence for their greed or pleasure. Yet they are dying day by day too, choosing to pursue wicked deeds over living a life that brings something of value to the world.

A lot of people don't realize this, but our children will one day decide the future of this nation. They will decide where you will die. They will decide what laws need to be overturned, put into effect, and where the money will go or stay.

What heritage we pass down today will follow us into tomorrow. Our world hangs in the balance based on the importance of children and what we teach them while they are young.

Children are a gift from God.

They are born innocent from corruption, exploitation and abuse. Whatever corruption and exploitation enters their life comes directly from the adults who exploit and abuse them. Wicked people with ulterior motives; people that don't deserve to even see a child let alone have control over one.

Whether we are sick or dying, young or healthy; a child sees more than we give them credit for, and they hear more than we think they can comprehend; they are smarter than we think.

The future of our nation and homes weighs in the balance of how we treat and raise our children today.

What type of hand print will you be passing on from your genealogy?

"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6) If you have children, don't take them for granted. If you don't have children, don't look down on these tiny human beings for being children.

The world lives when we allow the children to be born and live; when we teach them right from wrong, and pour ourselves into them as mini-extensions of our future selves. After all, one day we will die, and our children and the children left in this world will determine the future. It's past time to let the children live so we even have a future for the world.

We all die, and all that will be left is what you did in life and what you left behind. Will it be good, or evil?

Yes family time should be the most important thing in our families today. Children need to know they are loved, needed and have a purpose. And that purpose is to have time with their loved ones.
