Ford of Europe layoffs to save $ 200 million spending

US auto giant Ford announced layoffs at its European division, in order to save $ 200 million expenditure.

Ford announced that it is to launch a voluntary redundancy program, and in order to improve manufacturing efficiency.

The company also announced that it will focus on its profitable business model the best, such as sport utility vehicles (SUVs) on.

By 2015, Ford of Europe to profitability in the first section four years, and its parent company, Group profit reached a record $ 10.8 billion.

BBC employment and corporate affairs correspondent Moylan said that the main European division of Ford Britain and Germany might be laid off target.
