I've reviewed the links provided on this page although it's always a good idea to investigate the legitimacy of any non-profit you plan on investing any of your time or money into. Click here to visit the BBB or GuideStar.org to find out more about any U.S. Non-Profit Organization.

So some of you might be thinking, "What's Squidoo? . . . And what's that weird one-eyed creature?"

Squidoo is an online community where members have created single web pages called "lenses". We call our pages "lenses" because each is one person's focus on something that he or she is interested in, something that matters to them. Squidoo is a collection of thousands of these lenses that have been created by members, and the orange squid is our mascot! It's a super-simple, fun and powerful way to share your interests. It's all free, and you could even earn a royalty for charity or yourself. So click --->here<--- to check it out!

Excellent resource page for charities! So many needs, it is always difficult to choose who to give to when you have a limited amount to give. A portion of all of my Squidoo income goes to Buckhawk Center Animal Rescue ~ http://www.squidoo.com/buckhawk. Their director writes right here on Squidoo :)

Great lens! I too often forget about these sites that enable you to help out charities with virtually no effort. I was familiar with freerice.com, but not the others. I also run the World Community Grid project on my computer whenever possible.

Very good idea for a lens and so many important charities included. We donate to several charities every month and have done for several years, seems selfish but it makes me feel good. I wish you well.
