Oh,don't we need this so badly

What does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and, to walk humbly with your God? —Micah 6:8

Oh don’t we need this so badly in our society today?

Justice: the quality of being just, impartial, or fair b (1): the principle or ideal of just dealing or right action Webster’s Dictionary

We do not need one law for minorities and one Law for the white man. We do not need one law for the perverts (and yes homosexuality is perverted) and one law for normal. We do not need one law for the muslims and one law for everyone else. We do not need one law for the rich and one law for everyone else.

We need Gods Law strictly enforced in our lives and in our society. God’s law: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Do not do unto others as you would not have them do unto you. Think of how much better our lives, towns, provinces and countries would be if we all lived like this.

Mercy: compassionate treatment of those in distress Compassion: a feeling of wanting to help someone who is sick, hungry, in trouble, etc. Distress: pain or suffering affecting the body, a bodily part, or the mind Webster’s Dictionary

Now, put these all together. It means helping others in need of help yes, BUT they must want to help themselves as well. Let’s not keep giving to help starving people who refuse to use birth control or who are suffering aids yet refuse to practice abstinence or use condoms. We should want to help those who are hurt and suffering, but they must be willing to help themselves as well.

Let’s begin at home before we go handing out our hard earned tax dollars to third world dictators and people who hate us anyway.

Let’s find out WHY people are alcoholics and drug abusers. Let’s get them into programs where they must put forward an effort as well as accept the help to clean up their act. Let’s offer training programs to people in low end jobs so they can lift themselves up. Let’s force welfare people to get off their lazy duffs and learn to work for a living instead of being leeches on society. Maybe when they learn of hard work they may want to lift themselves up out of poverty.

He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God. Proverbs 14:31, New International Version

Humble: not proud or haughty: not arrogant or assertive Webster’s Dictionary

Let’s stop trying to tell God what to do in our lives and society and start learning to listen to and obey His word and direction. It is then and then alone so many of our ills will be eradicated in our lives, in our society and then we can start working on the world.

Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground. Psalm 143:10 the new international version

Prayer: Please teach me Jehovah Rabbi (God our teacher) how to be merciful and humble. We ask in the name of our great merciful King Jesus Christ.Amen.

May the sweet sunshine of Jesus’ love bless you today and every day

teacherjoe52 Voted UP and USEFUL. The first thing I do when I make a mistake (happens often) is ask for God's forgiveness, grace and mercy. How vital it is we treat others that way, as God shows us through His word. Micah 6:8 says it all, and THANK YOU for reminding hub readers of this very important truth in God's word. You are sincere, and you write from your heart and soul. Blessings always, Sparklea :)
