The Democratic Ticket

Good Morning, my friends! I am thinking that Hillary Rodham Clinton and Julian Castro, Secretary of Housing, should be the 2016 Democratic Presidential ticket. My rationale is that Hillary will attract women, progressive white males and African Americans, and Julian will attract Latinos. That's almost an unbeatable ticket, because I believe that it keeps the Blue Coalition Partners (BCP) united. However, we have to keep an eye on Jeb Bush who is probably waiting in the wings for the Tea Party folks to flame out. But my real preference would be Elizabeth Warren and Julian Castro, because that would give us a more progressive-minded ticket than with Hillary, who is more of a Centrist type politician. However, the Clinton brand is well known and has a national footprint. So Hillary is probably our best bet at keeping the Whitehouse, in spite of her high negative percentage.

I am telling you I would vote for that ticket and I believe that ticket can also beat Jeb Bush. I believe though he is a Bush he does not have the gravitas that his brother and father had it is now no longer The Republican party as we know it. The radical fringe has taken over the Party and he will not have the full support he needs. He is not Conservative enough for them Imagine that. He will panda like all Bush's do but he will not have their loony fringe supporters. They are a party in decline and I believe the People know this in their hearts that Hilary will have it by a wide margin. I am a definite fan of Elizabeth Warren... I would definitely vote a Hillary ticket but I do think that Clinton is somewhat the old guard with a lot of baggage and Warren is more future looking, younger and between now and 2016 could make herself more visible in the public arena. Definitely the year for a woman in the White House but no longer sure that it should be Hillary.

Let's talk! What are your thoughts?
