Hey all you religionists: Given the state of the world economy....
with the Powers that Be having control of everything and in process of impoverishing even those that were somewhat well off for awhile -- how about a "Jubilee Year"? A Hub idea -- history of that and how you might bring one about "today".
I seem to remember reading that one of those has come and gone without any jubilee ! Apparently it isn't what the powers that be want to happen. If,history is any judge the poor will be seen as a threat to the rest of society and told that they must do whatever they are told or else or suffer the consequences. The outcome isn't pretty.
The reason that history repeats itself is that most (meaning well over 80%) of the population do not adhere to the TRUE laws according to the ORIGINAL scriptures. The rich will always be in control, as we are theyre "enabler's" so long as the so-called religons of the world do not adhere to the doctrines of the ORIGINAL and true word of our creator Yahweh! For instance:
In Deuteronomy 15:1-18, the seventh year is called the LORD'S release, and all debts are to be forgiven. The reason for this law is to relieve the poor
.
Exodus 21:1-6 describes how Hebrew servants were to be released in the seventh year, unless they voluntarily desired to be lifelong servants.
Cast in the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia is a part of the Jubilee call: " . . . Proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof." On July 8th, 1776, the bell rang out summoning the people to hear the reading of the Declaration of Independence. Our nation did not obey the Law of Jubilee, and about fifty years after the War of Independence, the bell cracked and has not been rung since! Periodic depressions have occurred about every fifty years -- from The Digest of Divine Law, pages 109-110.

"Wherein in time past ye (christians) walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:" - Paul, to the church at Ephesus, in his epistle found in the bible.Continuing: "Among...
