Definitely not. I just read an article on Yahoo about "Paulonomics", which would (I think) if put into practice have the reverse effect Mr. Paul intends. It's always so easy for candidates to say during campaigns that they would balance the budget by doing this or that--anything to get the electorate to vote for them. However, follow-through isn't always easy or even the best thing to do. Every U.S. president has to cope with both domestic and foreign issues that affect this country, while also coping with a Congress that is sometimes hostile and getting more so.

The two-party system isn't working because partisanship is keeping our elected Congressional politicians from working together. That, in my opinion, is a bigger problem than who is or who is not elected president. The issues this has caused during the past few years make me very worried about the future of my country. But, no...I don't think Ron Paul is the answer.

Yes, I might. I had heard about him during the last elections, but he ran as an independent and didn't have enough clout to get the votes. However, if he was up against Obama, it'd be a tough decision for me, because I like Obama and I like Ron Paul.

Congressman Dr. Ron Ernest Paul is the only candidate who will get my vote.

30 years of consistently following the Constitution, vehemently opposed to all offensive wars, demanding sound money, and educating people about the dangerous of current economic policies.

The man predicted the crash 5 years in advance, he explained why the middle eastern terrorists are attacking US (as opposed to any of the other hundreds of countries they could be attacking), and has a plan to bring this recession to an end.

Obama, Romney, Palin, Perry, Gingrich, Clinton, Bush, and all the rest of them are sell-outs.

Paul is the only man of liberty and integrity that I've come across.

No. While I'd love to see a viable third party candidate - Ron Paul  is NOT the guy. He's way too far out there.

A man who truly holds this country and the Constitution at heart! He had my vote in 2008, and he will have it again this time! He wants to bring home our troops, stop foreign aid, and end the FED! I vote YES for Dr.NO!

I'm on the Yes for Dr. No train.  This country is ready for something different.  Our veterans support Dr. Paul, and his through process, while extreme to some, is based on constitutional principles.  Something this country has been missing for a couple hundred years or so.

Unfortunately, I don't think the main stream media is going to let Dr. Paul win this election.  We will still all gain from him running though, as candidates will "adopt" certain pieces of his policies.

I don't like or dislike Ron Paul, but there is no way I would vote for him. He has stated that he would abolish medicaid and medicare, and abolish the treasury department. That makes absolutely no sense, and its not something we want done.
the biggest problem is that most congressmen and senators are millionaires and they have absolutely no idea what the middle and low income families are going through.
If we are to get out of economic mess that we are in, we need to elect Newt Gingrich who has the knowledge and the ability to get America back on its feet again. I don't necessarily agree with every thing he has said or done, but he is the ONLY ONE who has the knowledge and tanesity  to get us back on track.

Ron Paul is one of most sincere politicians out there, and probably one of the most honest; definenitly one of the most forthright and outspoken.  Unfortunately, that doesn't make him good for the country.  If you want someone who would lead us back to the Articles of Confederation and the Continental Congress, Ron Paul would be your man, but not if you want a nation which can compete in today's world.  No, I wouldn't be able to vote for him or any of the other Republican candidates, with the possible exception of Jon Huntsman.

Well,  as a free market economist, all I can say is, with out question, Bush put politics before economics.  And Obama, a good dude, but I don't know what the hell he's doing: he might be doing his very best but to be honest with you his very best  is a complete economic mesh--what the hell else would expect from a friggin lawyer anyways?  Fact is, if you want an economy that looks like France--aka, Social Capitalism, then, by all means elect "two left feet" Obama for another 4yrs.  But bare in mind all that social welfare comes at a price: a price to an already astronomical national debt problem, a price to an already weak dollar and a price to an already low standard of living.  This said, Congressman Ron Paul is complicit on making some radical reformation to these radical economic days and times: the man has been consistent, steadfast and honest with his solutions to our economic problems and for that only he gets my vote.  What the hell else do we have to lose? The economy is already at its lowest point...and if you don't believe me then go take a drive down to Occupy Wall Street, them boys and girls are fed up man: the Ron Paul Revolution has already started and people don't even know it yet..   End The Fed Baby!

I think he has some good ideas about discipline, structure and justice  but seem inhuman, out of touch sometimes. His vision could become a bad utopia...WELCOME TO GATTACA OR WELCOME TO RONACCA!
Imagine judged useless and discarded by society. When everything is good for you yes, for anybody who had some trouble or a weakness , this may mean death!

Once one understands the tyranny the west is living under: a place in which one can be detained with no due process for having 'anti-government views', and can even be assassinated for such things; a place in which big banks get benefits and bail outs whilst the populace starves; a place in which bridges are falling down whilst the government finances the destruction and rebuilding of bridges in the middle-east; a place that imprisons marijuana users and other petty criminals whilst the Federal Reserve allows the stealing of trillions; a place in which voluntary efforts to feed the poor are stopped due to 'unapproved food' - Once an American understands all of this, it is physically impossible for that person not to vote for Ron Paul.

    If only I were American...

Ron Paul is a one trick pony. He is a throw back to the 19th century and none of his ideas are pratical for the 21st century,

He rants against goverment spending while he loads up bills with earmarks. His idea of shutting down goverment agencies will add more people to the aready record number of jobless people.

As far as his plan to reduce the income tax rate to zero, where does he expect the goverment to get it's revnue from?  Does he realize it takes money to run a country?

As far as him wanting to legalize drugs, that's another really bad idea. He claims he wants to end the violence caused by the war on drugs, but what he's actually doing is promoting the use of drugs.

He has not said one word about how he plans to create any jobs, he only rants about the Federal Reserve. If you took the words liberty and constitution out of the English language, Ron Paul would be practically speechless.

Ron Paul is by no means a Republican or a conservative by any stretch of the imagination.

I could go on and on, but I won't. The short answer to your question is NO!
