I read a bumper sticker at WalMart: 01/20/13

   I thought...Now what's supposed to happen then? (Thinking of what would happen after Dec. 20, 2012) Then...it occurred to me what it meant. How about you are you looking forward to the future...or are you happy the way things are?
   
   Me...I like things simple...and I'm afraid we are way past that point now. What is next...I wonder? And...I'm being general to not give away the bumper sticker...I'm sure that ya'll will catch on quick.

      Ah yes...but is there "Hope" and "Change" for that day...Look again...and see if that date is along the same thinking as what all the pessimists out there are saying. One person...whoever made that bumper sticker...seems to think life will go on as normal...or at least..."as scheduled" (So..to speak!)

   Wait...life normal? huh...didn't know that one lol But I do hope that there are changes no until then but sooner. We need more changes now and I think the one who created that was thinking about the future and possibly hoping that others will see this as a bumper sticker of hope. and lol I'm a pessimist and I don't think that way about the end of the world. To me it's if the world ends it ends.

      I got'ta believe your right...about the one who created the bumper sticker...at least. I can also agree with...if the world ends...it ends. Surley...us peasants have no say...just the one(s) holding the damn trigger in their hand! But...one thing that keeps me from being too pessimistic is...when has anything ever gone according to plan by humans...So if folks are guessin' somethings going to happen...exactly....that's a sure-fire way to know it won't happen like they say.       I guess there will always be predictions...It would seem, dutchman Good Point!
      
      But, after looking at it...1/20/13...is a pre-set date for another reason besides the End of the World...and obviously...at least one person in the Wal-Mart parking lot is interested in its' outcome.

   I, personally, am not terribly pleased with the way the world is looking to be right now. While there are good things happening, yes, it would be nice if I could get a job. It would also be nice if all Americans could stop getting side-tracked on non-issues and work on fixing the major problems that could ruin the entire country.

Nelle, my friend...has anyone done the odds on the chances that the Ancient Mayans, Roman Catholics, Eygptians, and I think there was a Druid witch...and least not forget Nostrodomus...That all of them will be right in 2012!?!
      
      That would be a heck of a bet wouldn't it...If you play for it to be wrong and it is...you win! If they are right...no one will be around to collect on the bet!! Think about it

    Here's whats funny about the whole thing, The Mayans never once mentioned that date was the end of anything except the calender cycle, they even have several prophecies referring to dates and events well beyond that date. It's like someone finding our calender in a thousand years and assuming the world ended on December 31st. Give me a break, why is everyone so concerned with the end of the world, here's an idea how about you worry about living your life for a change while you still have it,

       Great Point...I agree with you Scott Life. That's almost my reply to knowing the Mayan calendar ended in 2012...Mine is: I never used a Mayan Calendar to begin with.
       
       However with that...I am still wondering if anyone is going to be buying this bumper sticker: 01/20/13...for other reasons...?

    Scott has already struck off the Mayans with his post.  And most Catholics realize the Dec. 2012 date can't be the date for the end cause the antichrist has to be revealed and sit in the temple as if he were God for 3 1/2 years before the second coming of Jesus Christ, so we are too close for that already.  I predict it's going to snow here on 12/24/12, but I could be wrong.
