Of the Two Presidents Bush - Which Bush President was worse?
Everyone should have an opinion or answer for this - even if you think both presidents named Bush were great leaders - one of them had to be best, right?
So which Bush president was WORSE, and why?
I'm not sure it is possible to answer this one....if I had a gun to my head I would say it was Jr. I respected the old man for his intelligence and some of his actions since he left office make me think he may have a heart hidden somewhere within....Jr. on the other hand is not an intelligent human being and I have yet to see one iota of conscience in him.
I can only make such a judgement based upon how my life and financial situation fared. The other factor is the length of time in office which I have to factor in. During the first four years of Bush I was much better off than during the first four years of Obama. Obama seems intent of destroying this nation by spending money we do not have. He knows that and it has to be by design and not because he is stupid.
I've written a lot over time about both Obama and those around him and his policies which have accelerated the sinking of the ship of state. Neither was an ideal leader but Obama is an abject failure as a leader. He might have a future as a comedian or carnival barker but, as our President, his time needs to now be up.
Are you trying to imply that there is any difference, that by some simple twist of fate, (sorry, droped into my Bob Dylan mode) one may have been good?
Bush 1 was worse. He signed AGENDA 21 with the UN. Most here have no idea what that has done to this once great nation. Most are to ignorant to even research it. Clinton, Bush2, and Obama are simply following along and implementing AGENDA 21.
Daddy Bush was the worst in the long run. He was the one that was tasked with ushering in the NWO. By his decree (though it wasn't immediate) he announced the end of the constitution, bill or rights and civil rights and said right in front of out eyes that the UN was in controll Look at the clip. We are seeing the fruits of that decree today, but he was the one that pulled the trigger.
Most folks can't wrap their heads around how symbolic it all was - the George Herbert Walker Bush nwo speech was ten years to the day before the 911 orchestrated blood sacrifice to break the american economy, and weaken the Islamic nations.
I don't know the answer - but I can agree with the premise of the question. Who knows who was worse - who will ever know? They both had their wars on "something". War on Drugs. War on Terrorism. War in their own heads. My friend's father used to play golf with George Sr., they said he was a nice guy. Because of their upper 5% wealthy status, I don't think they had a clue of what normal American life was like. I read an article in MarieClaire (I think) of Bush Jr. as "The Accidental Candidate" - basically a hard drinking baseball fan without a clue. His librarian wife and twin daughters gave him credibility. I see him as a puppet of American Big Business interests.
I always think all the US presidents are puppets. I used to see Bush at the Texas Rangers baseball games at the old Arlington Stadium...before he was ever even governor of Texas!
The war on poverty, the war on drugs, the war on truth, OOPS those were Democratic wars. BOTH Parties are full of warriors and liars.
Both were right in their own way. I am not a U.S. citizen but nevertheless I can figure our what is right and what is wrong.
U.S. is the only country in the world which in spite of being powerful does not misuse it's power and uses it's resources for the furtherance of democratic rights. In following these lofty ideals one may have to take some difficult decisions which your presidents had the integrity and courage to take. I salute both of them. Both were right.
Hard to say. It's a close one, this. It's like asking whether Anthony Eden was worse than Anthony Blair. They both got US into the sticky brown stuff.
GB senior knew Saddam had to be shoe-horned out of Kuwait, but stopped at the border. GB ('Dubya') Junior knew there was something going on in Iraq but let himself be led in by Tony Bliar, who was trying his best to impress him.
One thing I never understood is why anyone voted for them in the first place and then after all of the lies they voted him again!! I think George Jr has a great face for comics but that is all he does for me.
Sometimes it makes me angry that there are so many honest and hard working people out there and these do not get a chance in life.

Never in my life have I seen such vitriol directed at our current POTUS and our former POTUS. Some people didn't like Clinton or Daddy Bush, some made fun of Ford and thought Carter was inept, and some thought Ronnie was senile, but I honestly don't remember as much pure hate directed at any of...

Despite what Obama's press secretary might tell you, the only reason that America is leaving Iraq is because of a declaration signed by George Bush saying that America will leave by 2011. Obama insisted upon staying in Iraq, but the Iraqi government has refused to grant US troops immunity for their...
