    Is Jim Carrey a hypocrite?

Jim Carrey now comes out with an opinion piece on huff-po which states "I Never Wanted to Take Your Guns Away", just to limit them. lol! And also call gun owners "heartless mother*uc*ers".  His "satiric" video, Cold Dead Hand, basically used the late Charlton Heston as a stand-in for gunowners and insults them.  I think he's just worried that his upcoming movie, Bad Ass 2, will be affected by his politicking.  I guess we'll see.

Everybody is a hypocrite to a certain extent. The trick is to be less hypocritical. I wouldn't worry about this guy.

Thanks for commenting Alberic.  No one is worried about Carrey, but I do want people to note his hypocrisy.  He abhors guns and the violence but he has no problem promoting violence in his movie when he thinks it's for a good cause.

Carrey is a Hollywood liberal. That pretty much answers your question by default.

First, kickass 2 wont be effected by anything jim carrey does because he is not the star. and pretty much no one cares what he does. Much like everybody else no one cares if you have gun, they only care that you do not use it on them. It all boils down to this. Everyone that wants to ban guns just does not want to get shot.  That's it.  and to answer, yes , yes he is a hypocrite. Without guns his body guards wouldn't be able to protect him anyways.

Thanks for the correction on the movie title, LOL!  I think most people who watch movies like kickass 2 are not political.  Having said that, I'm wondering now if the movie people might not have influenced the Huff Po article.

Jim Carey lost his acting ability some time ago, so he has to do something to do.  Not many are paying to see his movies these days.

As a comedic actor, he hasn't evolved and is pretty much a one-trick pony.
