Is President Obama The Worst President In American History? If yes why? If Not, why not?
He is the worst in certain categories, but he's not quite the worst overall. For instance, he is the first president in history to officially "green light" the assassination of a US citizen without trial or any presentation of evidence. He's keeping the US as a global hegemon as he grabbed de facto state control of Tunisia, Egypt and Libya after the people of those nations liberated themselves from oppressive regimes. The truth is, he supported those oppressive regimes until they became insupportable. Then he dropped a couple of bombs near the end of the civil wars and took credit for the overthrow of the regimes. He's trying this in Syria now and it's really muddying the waters there. He's prevented self-liberation of other Middle Eastern countries. Basically his administration's foreign policy has been an extension of the Bush administration. His haven't been as clumsy and ill-conceived as Bush's ventures, but they have been just as insidious.
You can get a pretty good idea of what scholars have to say with this fancy graph:

Looks like the consensus is that Warren Harding, James Buchanan, and Andrew Johnson are among the worst. The only vote for Obama has him at 15th out of 44.
The way people (personally feel about a president) determines if they believe he is the worst. Whether one likes/dislikes a person they see what they want to see, hear what they want to hear, believe what they want to believe. They ignore facts.
Yes I'm consider worst President in american history. The reason behind his defame is American foreign policy in his era. In his government america funded ISIS in Syria which is most dangerous than AL-QAIDA. Now terrorism is spreading in the middle east countries, ISIS is also serious threat to all world including america
No, I don't think he is the "worst" president.
When he took office unemployment was almost at 10%, the stock market was in the toilet, No one knew where Osama Bin Laden was, the auto industry was going under, and foreclosures were at an all time high. No matter how one slices it the economy today is much better than it was in 2009.
The way people (personally feel about a president) determines if they believe he is the worst. Whether one likes/dislikes a person they see what (they) want to see, hear what they want to hear, believe what they want to believe. They ignore facts that are contrary to how (they feel) about a person. People also have "short-term" memories or "romanticize" the past.
Another factor that often comes into play is how the person judging feels about a "specific parts" of a president's agenda or his party's affiliation. The key thing that is important to that individual overrides all else he does. For example if someone hates the idea of "Obamacare" they tend to forget both houses of congress passed the bill and the Supreme Court upheld the law. However more importantly if Obama left office today they fail to realize that a President Joe Biden would NOT repeal the law! And if Hilary Clinton got elected president she wouldn't either. Essentially the Affordable Health Care law is part of the Democrat agenda/platform. Ted Kennedy had been pushing for this long ago.
Personally speaking it would be difficult for me to say that Jimmy Carter or Gerald Ford were better presidents. That's without me doing any research on the performances of all the other presidents.
Unless you're immortal, and have lived to see every president so far, or you're a presidential historian, then you're not qualified to call him the worst president. Gut feelings and hot button politics are rarely the things remembered by history.
I feel a lot of people exaggerate, are crazy tea partiers, bitter Occupy wall streeters (with fancy liberal arts degrees) and/or mostly hate him because he is half-black (aka racism!) This sounds crazy but let me explain. The time he came in is one the worst times in recent US history. After Bush (who was charming but who is a worst president than Obama). America was/is a mess. The war on terror was a bust (no weapons of mass destruction), our economy was rapidly/subtly failing (cuss of the mortgage crisis), and a lot of shifts were going on (lack of bipartisanship, tea party movements, etc. Boom the recession hit from 2007-2009. President Obama was elected a short time after. During this time a lot of things are going on. Bipartisan is very low (the dems and repubs just don't get along and won't get along). People are worried, they are losing jobs and can't get jobs. Auto industry failing (the infamous bail out), swine flu, a lot of transitions in America. President Obama was elected in a time of great change, and a lot of these problems existed way before he was elected. People blamed him, expected/expecting him to fix everything immediately.
Even so, the President has done a lot that people don't give credit for (it depends on the person and their political beliefs. (Legalization of pot, gay marriage (in certain states, finding Bin Laden, etc.) Some people claim Obama is a socialist (democrats are known for their left leaning social programs/support), a terrorist, don't believe he was born in America. Even after being given proof, a lot of people still believe in that. I can understand if you don't like someone based on their policies/beliefs, but demonizing them saying that he's un-American and not a citizen is just messed up. The logical step after this would be people are mad because he's black (mind you half-black, raised by white grandparents/mom). America still has very strong racial tensions (hello Trayvon Martin, Mike Brown, Eric Garner, etc.). This probably can relate back to times where African-americans were considered property and not citizens (or humans). By the way I feel some more negative opinions of Obama are fair. I don't think he is honest with the American public, he always flip flops/lies (says he will remove troops from middle east but sends troops for ISIS). I know this controversial but I don't care, had to say it!
If someone had to the worst president so far is perhaps Ulysses S. Grant 1869–1877. Idk history will tell.

Why? How did this president impact the United States in terms of social and economy policy? How was this country worse because of this president?

From the time of President Obama's inception in the White House, it was his intention to change America into a "newer" version of America. He felt that that America as it was not in incongruence with what America should be. He believed that the Constitution was out of...

Maybe the word hate is a little strong. So why do people dislike President Obama and the way he is running the country? Are you an Obama fan? Yes, no, what is your opinion of Obama and his policies?

Who do you think will become known as the worst president, Barack Obama or Jimmy Carter?
