What do you think about the DNC operatives admitting that they rigged machinations in order to
oust Bernie Sanders out of the running & put Hillary Clinton ahead in poll, subsequently to be the Democratic presidential candidate? How does this finding affect you if you are a Bernie Sanders' supporter? Now that you have heard the findings, would YOU vote for Hillary Clinton now? Why? Why not? Well, they say that politics is dirty.....but this is a NEW LOW.....
It proves that the Democrats are as corrupt as Sanders and Republicans accused them of being.
I wonder if Sanders ops stealing Clintons voting list you consider corrupt?
Hack/steal....semantics. it's a shame Sanderites don't get it: she got more votes. From the people. Just because he was a sensation doesn't mean he gets to dictate to a party he just joined. It's so arrogant!
They had every right to do it! He's an Independent who suddenly became a democrat to take votes from the legitimate dem. If he had any honor, he would have stayed indy instead of making demands on the established party that took hard work and backbone to make. What's corrupt is Sanders and his psychophants demanding all these things. Start your own dang party! I'm fed up with these carpet baggers acting like no one knew anything before they took over. And I have news for you...the Republican party did the same thing to Dumpy, and had every right to do so. They worked to build their party, not Dumpy. And now he acts like he's head honcho in charge, just like Sanders. BOOOOOOO
He is registered as a Democrat and so are his supporters. Apparently, the democrats don't believe in equality. All democrats are not treated equally.
Agree with you Leslie. No equal opportunity for anyone hijacking a political party they have not contributed much to. I love Bernie and would vote for him if Hillary hadn't won the delegates, but he should have joined the party long ago.
Exactly. And remember he was bashing it to high heaven!
The super delegates were already behind Clinton even before the campaigning started. Democrats are just corrupt.
Of course they were. She earned her way up. Unlike Dumpy, who bullied and insulted his way to the top. Democrats have the right to support democrats, not independents!
The fact that people inside the DNC may have been working to push for the nomination of one candidate over another I do not have a problem with only because of the Hunt Commission rules that everyone under the Democratic flagship agreed to abide under, even if I am not a fan of the Hunt Commissions finding (especially the Super-delegate rules). I do have a problem with an organization attempting to sabotage the campaign of someone trying to run for the presidential nomination. The Democrats in 1980, after being soundly defeated by Ronald Reagan initiated the Hunt Commission which was tasked with coming up with ways to present the candidate who had the best chance of winning the presidential election. All democrats know this and agree to run under these rules, so showing favoritism & having Super-delegate pledge early are all fair game which no one should complain about so long as everyone knows the rules prior to beginning the game. That being said, now that this nomination process is over I would like to see the Democrats revisit some of these rules and rethink them. As for the sabotaging or contemplation of sabotaging a campaign this is just downright disgusting and anyone involved in any overt acts of sabotage should be punished, and anyone who even jokingly made light of sabotaging a campaign should at least be censured publicly. I am not sure who I am going to vote for at the moment out of all the possible presidential candidates, however, this would not affect my vote unless a candidate was specifically tied to these acts. People acting behind the scenes on their own, whether it be because they thought they were dong the greater good or were delusional, does not affect my thoughts of others unless they too were involved. I judge "individuals" by the act of the "individuals" and do not associate the acts of the "individuals" upon an entire group.
I have a problem when a party overrules the people. You are not voting for a candidate as much as you are for their party.
You are indeed voting for a party and that has always been the case. Anyone not agreeing with the party platform and working towards party goals will be run out of the party. Has always been so
The problem is that both the democrats and the republicans tried to overcome the people who voter against the choice of the party elites. The democrats stacked the cards for Hillary even before the campaigning started, and had the super delegates, and super pacs lined up. They didn't anticipate that any of the handful of Hillary opposition would take hold. And when they did see the trend, they put more than just a thumb on the scales.
The republicans did something similar when they found the Donald Trump was taking hold with the voters. In that case,Ted Cruz and John Kasich not only didn't support the people's choice they continued to treat him as if he was worse than Hillary Clinton.
In both cases, the Loyal Party Voter is the root cause of this kind of conspiracy in that they act like sheep for the party.
The Loyal Party Voter should be loyal first to the people and the country and then to the party.
It was supposed to be We the People, NOT We the Party.
So, if you are a loyal party voter, then you should feel guilty and take responsibility for both the decline in the US, and the corruption of the party.
In the last 40 years, Neither party has had any solutions, ergo, 2008 meltdown, or recovering from it. But both parties have contributed to the problems of the country.
When one party in congress or the presidency fails, We the People and the country lose. Searching for the guilty doesn't change that, and US history verifies that fact.
The parties have moved the country to the left and then the right and back and forth for over a hundred years, but they only moved the country forward during WWII and the 1950s.
Neither party had done anything for the Middle Class. In 1986, the Tax Reform Act took away most of the useful deductions in the Internal Revenue Code. While the bulk of the IRC favors the wealthy. And the poor don't pay taxes, but receive gov stipends.
While the subject here is Bernie Sanders and the democrats, that is a red herring as to the real problems that we need to bring to the light.
I don't think Sanders ever had a chance, except once. His criticism of Israel for using "disproportionate force" was ill-advised. If he would not stand up for his own kind, he would not stand up for Americans either. At least so goes the syllogism. I wouldn't blame Sanders, however, since his party is pro-Iranian anyways.
Interesting, I never thought of democrats as pro-Iranian, but they do seem to be anti Israel.
Anyone with a shred of decency is against what Israel is doing to Palestinians. Can't say nazis are bad then support same system of evil. And there is only one kind. Human kind.
The sad part is that despite overwhelming evidence Bernie is rooting forHillary himself. Frankly this shows a lack of character. My feeling is he compromised himself and probably had a back room deal with. Hillary. If true he doesn't deserve any support. He is not a fighter anyway. One of those chaps who won't be remembered
It is scary that people no longer care how we feel about illegal activities. It is if the government is saying, "We are going to do what we want, in your face, and there is nothing you dare do about it." Such blatant disrespect for our laws, checks and balances and human rights is unbelievable!
Now is the time to get a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
