Got an idea.  If Liberals really want to erase God from open society they need to get him his own show on MSNBC.  Any other ideas?

Are you a right wing extremist?

Nope, just trying to start something.  I do strongly dislike MSNBC though.  Can't really put my finger on it.  Seems every host they have grates on my nerves.  Subjects discussed are cool.  Hosts?  Not so much.

News flash: Most liberals believe in God. We just don't necessarily invent a God that is full of hatred, who believes science is evil, etc.

So true and you know what else?  True believers don't see God that way either.  Ain't sterotypes a wonderful thing?

I completely agree with you. I don't believe Talibangelicals are true believers. (That goes for the "prosperity gospel", anti-gay bigots who have the temerity to call their cruel ethos Christianity)

Do me a favor and point out the true believers will you?

I am always getting them mixed up with all the other believers.

A simple two or three point reference chart will do.

Thanks. Appreciate it - it will stop me making fun of the true ones and I can stick to all the fake ones. wink

The only way I've every been able to determine a true believer is by their actions.  Words mean very little.  You can say anything you want and make it sound very, very good.  What you do is what matters to me.  Truthfully, not even sure I'm a true believer.  Try to be though.  Hate's not a word or action I condone, in myself or anyone else.  No need in it.  You want to hate something, hate the IRS.  See how much good it does ya!

True believers are ones who walk by faith.

Apparently True Christians® belong to churches like the Landover Baptist Church. If you're not familiar with them, you can visit their bookstore. lol

I know a whole host of church going folks who would seriously disagree with "tobey" and some of the other remarks herein.

A TRUE believer, believe it or not, will not defend their belief. They will not stand up scream at the top of their lungs, what they believe.

A TRUE believer, will see no reason to justify their belief in any way, shape or form. They simply will not engage in any sort of debate about it.

So, I guess that makes ALL of the believers here at HubPages, NOT true believers, but simply believers. They believe in either Jesus Christ or God, just like millions of others.

The problem is that believers who think that they are doing the work of god's will or following Jesus Christ's teachings, really don't believe whole-heartedly, because if they did, then they would understand that the debate or argument isn't worth their time. smile

To me, it doesn't matter what you believe. Science, knowledge of life and understanding of the human body, discerns the truth between what is real and what isn't. That specific understanding is the wisdom of life, which is only achieved when one looks deeply inside oneself and finally realizes, that is it them, all alone without anyone looking out for them.

Once, you search within yourself, you find the knowledge of life is contained within your mind, body and heart. Who you are as a person is defined in your actions and NOT in what you believe. smile

By you saying "Amen", already tells me that you agree with what I said. So, therefore, I don't need to say it.smile

When there is no medium between me and my Lord, and I simply become a willing vestment of His influence to flow into it, then I overflow the water of the Ganges at its source. There is no desire to speak when one lives the truth. Truth is the most economical of words.

Oh btw - Liberals VS God?

Why in the world would you put these two things, even in the same sentence. One is politics and the other is mystical.

They are both useless, once oneself discerns the truth about life. smile

    lol lol lol lol
