Watching the Barr confirmation, I'm still waiting for someone to ask him if Mueller finds violations of our laws committed by Trump, would Barr make that information public and indict him?

Barr already stated that everything would be examined by the letter of the law and that there would be no favoritism.  Isn't that about the same thing?

You do know, of course, the AG can change the regulations which prevent him from violating what is now standard Justice Dept. policy. He can also prevent Mueller's report from being seen by us, who paid for it.

I think it is very possible there may be national security issues, (in the report), that would demand it not be released to the public.

If the Democrats on the Senate Intelligence Committee, (you know, the anti-Trump ones with the vetted security clearances), would be satisfied with an AG summary report for public consumption, I would be okay with it too.

But, I would be really pissed if all we got was one of those redacted reports with page after page of blacked-out lines.

As for a new AG changing regulations or policies in this current political environment; I don't that happening. It would be a lose-lose situation.

I agree, GA. Did you ever consider the fact Mueller and Barr worked together, and their wives are friends as well, that they might have set Trump up with the memo?

Naw, I don't think so, but my wife brought it up and probably Rush--along with Jack--would go for it.  tongue

That does sound like a wife thought. I don't see it.
