   Former US vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin has been criticised for writing crib notes on her hands for her Tea Party speech on Saturday.
   
   Does this show the inflexible nature of her ability to discuss topics without changing the agenda she wishes to fit everything said into?

         i wondered that too. ironically, though, i watched her entire speech that night and skipped out on the President's State of the Union

   President Obama has been criticised for being dependent on his teleprompter when speaking.

         I don't think Obama is all that smart. After all he had ghost writers write his books for him and his ideas are basically rehashed socialist ideas from people like Saul Alinsky. This is a guy that used a teleprompter to address a 6th grade class!! Intellectual? Really?

      And Palin actually criticized him for that in the speech before she was using her own "cheat notes" during an interview.
      
      Time to quit bringing it up on both sides. There is no one who gives speeches for a living who is able to memorize their entire speech.

         Very true. Much ado about nothing. But as was observed, she tried to make a big deal of Obama's use of a teleprompter although every president since the device was invented has used one. What goes around comes around.

   maybe she is just forgetful, so she needs to write it in her palm, I couldnt imagine being a mom, writer, speaker, traveling through and fro, plus she has children too and her ex son in law -- hehe

   All the great speakers read their speeches. In the old days it was written on paper, now they use teleprompters.
   
   Up until now, I thought the palm of the hand was only used by school kids taking a test.

      I would agree that a prescripted speech is the norm but she had to refer to the notes while in the interview.  This clearly showed her inability to keep on topic as she needed a cheat sheet to refer too.

   i thought it was funny the way she kept mentioning Ronald Reagan...how great he was and all, and how anyone can be President. oh boy. i really feel as if they are grooming her already...

      The funny thing is when Reagan was in office I was terrified we were headed for war at the drop of a hat with his escallation policies against the Soviet Union.

   It's one thing to laugh at Palin, maybe you don't like her or think she is a total idiot. I, for one, am no fan, but to complain about her checking notes is just dumb.   I guess I should check out her speach, she a force to be reconed with. They love to bring up RR don't they? What was so great about RR?

    But Dolores, when she criticizes the President for something a lot less critical, like using a teleprompter, it just demonstrates Palin's true character....
    
    And then she tries to criticize Obama through the "example" of Kennedy.....
    
    Her speech was poor.....her presentation of the speech was poorer, and the fact that there are people out there who think that she and the "teasters" think they did a good job is even worse..........
    
    Palin's ambitions are far ahead of her actual ability or integrity...............

    You can't condemn one and than say it's okay for the other one to do it.
