I don't think the government will ever be able to effectively tax it...I really can't see how..
But, I don't think taxation is the only reason for its ongoing illegality...
Regardless, we are living in a great period of time...and I'm very curious to see how local, state, and federal governments are going to evolve...
"Your statement about "enables criminals/terrorist to grow wealthy off the ongoing stream of disappeared cash...?" Is completely hot air. Did you say this just to say it?"
Let us see....the growers are criminals are they not?
They would go to prison if caught...so they must be...
As for terrorists....I do not personally believe that those who grow weed may not all be...but if they are involved with the funding of groups who use terror...like Pacas Trece and San Fer...then they are still connected...
And the money "disapears"...purchases that are never recorded that enable more undocumented buys...of who knows what else...
When I was in Hawaii, after the Corps, I got to know the local side of things.... From the police in the evidence room using and redistributing the meth they confiscate from local buyers to being asked by a weed seller to shoot someone...I have seen a great deal....
Don't be hasty in your assesments please...
I think it should be legalized...
got brownies?
problem is, eating the brownies gives you the munchies, you satisfy the munchies by eating more brownies, eating more brownies intensifies the munchies so you eat more brownies.....
Then you pass out comfortably numb... and full!

Do you believe non-religious people, who lead a good life, are still going to hell? One of my biggest frustrations with religion is the idea that, how you live your life is of no consequence if you do not accept god. For example, John Smith is a good christian man who helps people, obeys the law and...

I personally think it is ridiculous that it's not allowed. But according to polls the majority disagree with me! Surely there must be somebody on here that favors the outlawing of marijuana. Tell me why!
