Funny how Mexico isn't very tolerant of Illegal Immigration.
------------------- Mexican Laws -----------------------
Foreigners who are deported from Mexico and attempt to re-enter the country without authorization can be imprisoned for up to 10 years (Article 118)
"A penalty of up to two years in prison and a fine of three hundred to five thousand pesos WILL BE imposed on foreigners who enters the country illegally" (Article 123)
A Mexican who marries a foreigner with the sole objective of helping the foreigner live in the country is subject to up to five years in prison (Article 127)
It is also illegal for a foreigner to participate in any protest or movement that is against the government of Mexico and is punishable by a prison term.
Mexico requires that any American entering Mexico must be in possession of TWO forms of I.D., passport and one other photo I.D.
Americans, and other nationalities, are not allowed to travel to the interior of Mexico without a permit which can only be obtained at the Mexican counselate. The fee for the travel permit is $10 in American dollars (to be paid for only in pesos) which can be obtained at the bank located next to the counselate. It must be paid for in cash, is good for a maximum of 180 days and must be carried on the person at all times while in Mexico.
In order to enter Mexico with a vehicle, you will be required to purchase auto insurance IN MEXICO as U.S. insurance is not accepted.
To be able to work in Mexico you must:
prove that the job is not capable of being done by a Mexican citizen have a letter from your bank proving you are capable of being self supporting or show bank statements that prove you have had deposits of $1000.00 U.S. per month, including an equal amount for each dependent.
Children of foreigners cannot attend Mexican public schools unless they are fluent in Spanish.
Wow! To bad we can't make U.S. employers be this strict on hiring Mexicans! Or anyone else west of the Mississippi river!
The common rant among liberals and Hispanic activists is that America is "a great country." This is supposed to set this country apart from the world. Translated: The United States has no laws and international boundaries are meaningless. What's ironic is that our immigration laws are mandated by Congress and enforced by the federal government. Yet there is no enforcement. Although some are deported, overwhelming numbers of illegals -- including a large community of illegal Asians in Arizona -- permeate the borders. Clinton, Bush, and now Obama refuse to seal the border. Why? (1) We need more bodies to replenish the government coffers through taxation. Obama will grant amnesty twice (assuming he's two-term) at about 12 million each time. Social Security is about wiped out. But an additional 30 million amnestied illegals will resolve that. (2) ObamaCare: Who will pay for this mandated healthcare program? It will be Illegals who are granted amnesty. (3) Retiring work force. Again illegals will be the mainstay. Quality -- especially in the sciences and health -- will seriously suffer for a couple generations but who cares? (4) No transnational boundaries. This is also known as the North American Union. It's inevitable for economic reasons. The EEU and China will become more dominant in global trade. An NAU stretching from Cape Horn to Canada is likely within 30 years.
The big picture is that this tidal wave of migration cannot be stopped. Migrants are coming from regions so inhospitable that they literally do not care if they live or die. It's unfortunate that Mexico is one of these.
Yes, this is it in a nutshell. As usual, it's all about money. America is a giant monopoly board and we are literally the tokens going around in circles while the rich get richer.
What will be the situation when all of the money is in the hands of a very few people. The rotten ethics in our government have gotten more blatant over the last few decades. No bid contracts to the company formerly CEO'd by the VP. How bad did that deal smell to you? "No bid contracts?" We need to start prosecuting our "deciders" for this kind of slimeball action!
send all those rules to Obama and have him read it to congress and the senate!!!!!
WOW Mexico has almost exactly the same visa and entry rules as almost every other country in the world - amazing - WOW
and ?
Isn't it obvious what the point is? Mexico, with their Anti-Immigration laws, is a country of hypocrites.
Mexico has basically threatened the US over the Arizona Immigration law, yet they refuse to be as lenient as they demand US to be?
(how do you say HYPOCRITE in Spanish/Mexican?)
I thought it said a Mexican - and I was about to tell you about a relationship I had with a Mexican.....
Hot food - warm evenings and a great deal of political passion
why are they coming over and making a living hear and bringing it back over there but in the back words effect if were caught in mexico illegally we automatically get prison time I believe in deportation highly.
Am I missing something here? Why would you want to sneak into mexico?....yet.
Did something else happen to the economy while I was napping?
you see the US has relaxed immigration laws and illegals are come and go as they please yet they have laws just waiting for american citizens I certainly would not want to go to mexico but not only is it corrupt but it is also spilling over to the US side.
Must be the principle of the thing. The Aztecs are invading.
Why would anyone want to sneak into Mexico?
Oh, yeah... drugs! But then again, we've got plenty of those here!
Just as in America, foreigners sneak into Mexico's southern border. They don't like it any more than we do, but unlike the US they do something besides welcome the illegals with all kinds of freebies.

I cannot find a group that supports illegal immigration. Yet we cannot stop it. Now that is pathetic. So we must conclude that without saying it, some - many in America support it and do what they can to stop control of it. It would seem that this should be a target for midterm elections. Who does...

Are YOU sick of the incessant illegal immigration to this country which was initiated bythe amnesty program under President Obama? Why? Why not? There is an influx of illegal immigration to America as a result of this amnesty program. These illlegal immigrants have no skills nor education.Because...

I want to write an article about illegal immigration and its effect on this country. I love people in general and I’m a legal immigrant myself (I immigrated here 28 years ago). However because of our “human rights” approach, affirmative action laws, and open door policy, we have invited some...

Is an American life worth 7 times greater than an Mexican? Illegal immigration law enforcement. The Red Herring Question of 'what about the illegals who exploit US welfare system' is why ICE only arrests violent criminal illegals and not screw with those who work. But why make it a crime to hire...

I just finished writing a hub on this topic and I am wondering if people out there think that we will be able to come to a consensus on a common sense approach to immigration or is this topic just too emotional for serious rational discussion? Thought?

http://liveshots.blogs.foxnews.com/2011 … h-cartels/This should frighten all Americans especially since Obama and his justice dept is doing everything they can to keep the borders open. Obama cares only about winning latino support for reelection than he does about the safety of Americans!
