I found a new avatar for you Sab....I hope you like it.
Have a laugh old man! Relax..
I couldn't tell you...I just typed "old man jokes" into Google. I thought of your avatar's head supplanted on this guys body....it fit so nicely.
But if your powers of perception between us is so far off, what does that say for the rest of your assertions...
I can't always reply to you seriously in long paragraphs...
This thread is comedy gold. OP denounces American President (which I'm fine with) and then states that all that do not agree must be self-loathing 'America Haters'.
If you can't see the irony in that, then there's no hope for ya.
I certainly don't hate this country, in fact quite the opposite. I respect the men and women who have served my country. Yet, I don't see anything wrong with not flying the flag. There are obviously diplomatic reasons for not doing so and it's not the first time it's happened. So why the rage?
This is just my opinion here (and unlike others in this thread, I don't mistake my own opinion for fact) but I think some of you are angry but really don't know who to be angry with. Quite frankly, I could say the same thing myself. However, I do realize my limitations, as to properly assigning blame. I'm not naive and know that the world is a helluva lot more complicated then most would lead you to believe. It's certainly not a world comprised of exclusively black and white.
I wish we could all find points of common interest and work towards a common goal. Yea, that sounds like some hippy wad of bologna to some of you but it sure as hell beats this 'blame the other guy' b.s. rhetoric that goes on in pretty much every internet forum on the web. The two party political system is dividing and conquering the American populace, when will we all wake up?
I think it's more a problem that one party, just as one religion, thinks it has the rights to America.
There's no problem with "bi-partisanship" on dems part.
The problem is the right and their chosen religion think they have eminant domain and anything else is a usurption.
They have just had their way for far too long imo.
They didn't learn their lesson in kindygarden.....share.
hmmm, well some people think it's really one party with two wings.
Nothing about a security blanket, it's about doing something for all Americans....not just the chosen few.
That's what we've been fighting for all this time.....from day one.
And it has always been a fight to get some people to realize, and actually act upon, what they say they believe....we are all created equal.
I'd have to say I agree with them. In my country (Britain) it's actually gone a stage further - both* the main parties are incredibly similar and they don't really bother pretending otherwise any more.
*I should say all three main parties, now the Liberal Democrats have formed a coalition with the Conservatives.
Ugh..that's no good.
What's the point of elections then?
But it's true here...third/fourth/variety parties are really not allowed. They get on C-Span and alternate news...but not really into the arena.
I saw a program with
Green party
Constitution party
Libertarian party
Independent party
Debating the issues.
And Cynthia McKinney has started a whole new one...Respect party, or something.
But the 2 big ones work hard to keep it just 2. Although Howard Dean when he was Chairman did say "let them all in."
It's so funny to me to hear all these people complain about the the power of gvt...it's really the power of corporations.
And doing something about it is like pulling teeth...pulling your heart out of your mouth is more like it.
Entrenched power from how long ago? The very start?
Ugh.
Good question...
No, it's the power of government working in tandem with corporations. "Corporatism", aka "corporate socialism", aka "fascism" even.
If you do a bit of thinking, you will find that much of the "reform" that is carried out by successive governments always seems to end up penalising the individual or the small independent trader, while actually benefiting large corporations (or not penalising them as much as the "little guy").
Although I don't buy into hardcore libertarianism, I do wish more people would wake up to the fact that much of what makes life worth living comes from (a) an absence of outside interference (rather than being a result of people "doing something about" something), and (b) an understanding of one's own long-term best interests... which essentially boils down to showing a bit of personal responsibility.
I expect this probably won't make much sense to most of the people reading this so I'll stop rambling LOL.
Ok so now we have a tea-party libertarian; Rand Paul, who wants to outlaw abortion....telll ME what to do in the most private of private matters!
"Have that baby by order of the state!"
That is NOT freedom.
It really doesn't matter what your party is this election cycle.
If your progressive and incumbent.
Your outta there.
THE LIMBAUGH VICTORY
http://www.nytimes.com/2010/05/20/opini … ef=opinion
Actually we are pissed at you all.
It doesn't take Rush to point out the idiocy the left does, and it doesn't take al fraken to point out the idiocy the right does.
We, the American people, can see it for ourselves.
No Chrs.
I was not.
The rest of America may have been. But I have seen the treason for some time now.
And I suppose you think the 92-2000 was a great american era.
Where were you during Clinton's treasonous reign? When he gave the Chinese inter-contenental bullistic missle technology.
That was fine huh.
Not to mention letting them get our AEGIS tech also. And the Los Alomos' CDs?
Where were you Chrs?...
Ralph,
Ignorance is always a scary place to promote ideas.
Your link just provides the basis of it as we all knew.
Rush has just redefined the term igNOrance as the battle cry for the GOP. Maybe that is why devoid of the Rush annointed candidate Sarah Palin has rushed in to try and take control.
The ignorant are those who think they can screw Americans in the name of the world.
Sorta like Oby yesterday.... spouting off again about a law he probrably hasn't read.
And we all know the ignorance of his administration... to spout aboput about racists when they haven't even read the law.
Yeah. We see who is ignorant, alright.
No, not actually.
I Just felt like stating the obvious.
Sorta like, "racists always see race". The, "ignorant always see ingnorance".
Because they just can't quite grasp the concept that most don't think like them. That most people in this country actually love this country and don't like what is happening to it. And we don't need people to tell us what now is becoming plainly visible to all.
They are giving too much credit to a three hour a day radio personality.
It's much more than Rush. It's Beck and Hannity and Ingraham and Savage and Severin and more whose names I can't think of. It's an organized campaign. Operation Mockingbird project.
That's why people get so angry and riled up...calling the president anti-American?
That is lunacy.
They have captured your minds.
Why do you suppose talk radio is all rightwing? Because a blue state like mass wants no liberal talk? Come on!
Why does Russssshhhhhh get a minute and a half every morning before his regular show to spew out his daily Obama and Democrat hate?
Why would a normal radio-talk host do that?
He's a shill for repubs, as they all are.
And they are filling your heads with lies--using psychological manipulation on you.
What do you think is the real reason Stern went down?
He was against Bush, Christian Fanatics, and the Bush FCC.
Publicly so--and he had a lot of listeners.
So, now we have all Right all the time. All Obama hate all the time. All gvt is bad all the time.
This has been brewing since 1990-91. Much like the anti-choice campaign, they are stealthy, steadfast and little by little they take over.
And they never reveal their agenda...which is a religious/corporate grip on your life.
Like Rand Paul: All about freedom right? No gvt involvement right?
Except when it comes to the most personal of personal freedoms.
"You will have that baby by order of the state!"
Texas re-wrtiting history books to take Jefferson out, remove separation of church and state and glorify McCarthy!
It's huge mind-F and all about stifling humanity. Real free expressive humanity.
Put us all back in that Bush/Cheney box.
Shut up. Do as we say. Worship our God. Glorify our wars. Listen to our voices. All money goes to the top. None for the bottom. Total class division. Total class society.
They play you like violins. And you don't see it. Because you are filled with hate. Of Obama. Of Democrats. As if they weren't citizens just like you!
hey--Obama won the election; why doesn't that count?
Are YOU the only citizens that matter? Rush thinks so. Do you?
It's not just Rush, Beck et al, it's their unemployed, dim-witted, sexually frustrated lackeys who spend all day posting to internet forums.
.......
Are you very young and immature? Or just very intent on whining about mothers not having the "right" to kill their own babies?
The constitutionally guaranteed right to chose this medical procedure does not equate to killing babies. This is a lie perpetuated by evil doers who bow to an imaginary deity.
Have a nice day. I'm off to my job at the university where I'll probably fornicate with one or more students during my lunch break.
No, you much rather suppress or oppress someone's individual right. You and your much "hate" spewing religious junk continues to damage society, because what you think is best, is the only option.
Talk about immature.
No, I'm a gramma taking care of 2 grandkids whose mommy isn't capable....
I would not want her to have aborted, but then again---she had me.
What of those girls who have no-one?
Or a woman who simply is not ready?
Destroying zygotes is far more humane than blowing little babies up in a war.....you DID support Operation Iraqi Oil Grab, didn't you?
Bush was your man, right?
So, why are you whining about what I do, when you support mass murder?
Wars are sometimes inevitable, and necessary to protect national sovreignty and citizens.
Unlike abortion, which isn't necessary except in extremely rare cases.
War is nothing but an egotistical prick waving contest, where ignorance rules, and who has the bigger stick usually works.
It's absurd and NOT inevitable.
You may want to tell the North Vietnamese about your bigger stick theory, they thought they could win with stealth tactics and motivation!
So is Rush like a pied piper? Good thing his only ambition is to make tons of money working a couple of hours a day. If he really wanted to I guess he could take over the world. Muuuaaahhhahhhh LOL
I dont' know, but they're all afraid to stand up to him! Who was it that said something *gasp* against him, and then apologized?
Why? Why can't any pubbies speak out against El Rushbo?
If he were to say something wrong and I heard it, I'd speak out against it. But so far maybe we "pubbies" are too distracted by the crap spewed by people who want his kidneys to fail.
Here's your chance: (I lifted this from one of Ralph Deeds posts....thank you ralph!)
"Among Limbaugh's gems: "Obama's got a health care logo that's right out of Adolf Hitler's playbook;" "Obama is asking citizens to rat each other out like Hitler did;" the president "is sending out his brownshirts to head up opposition to genuine American citizens who want no part of what Barack Obama stands for and is trying to stuff down our throats;" and "Adolf Hitler, like Barack Obama, also ruled by dictate."
You think Obama is Hitler?
She probably does...he can do no right...
Here's more:
“Let the unskilled jobs that take absolutely no knowledge whatsoever to do — let stupid and unskilled Mexicans do that work.”
“You’re a foreigner. You shut your mouth or you get out.”
“A Chavez is a Chavez. We’ve Always Had Problems with Them”
My favorite has always been "Take the bone out of your nose and call me later."
Or when he had his TV show and compared Chelsea Clinton to a dog; posted their photo's side by side....
"All drug users should be thrown in prison."...Except for meeeeeee
Anything yet worth speaking out against?
Did he also consider Caesar Chauvez a problem? He was a great American hero.
But...it's Rush...no need to say any more.
I highly doubt any of those comments are in the context he said them.
Nice try though. Always amazes me, the outright deception used by the left. Go listen to the shows where he said them, then tell me you take them the same.
Thats is absurd to post lone statments completely out of context.
Thanks for the credit, lovemychris.
The de facto leader of the GOP.
Rush....all hype and no substance...like many others here.
Hypocrite and rabble rouser....
"He is dangerous!
Tell us that you're who they say you are.
The man is in town right now to whip up some support.
A rabble rousing mission that I think we must abort.
He is dangerous!" A.L. Webber
Dangerous?
Like the truth is dangerous to leftists, maybe.
LOL Brenda that is from Jesus Christ Superstar. It is the only place I know that the words rabble rouser are used.
lol
I saw that movie long ago.
Can't remember it all; but I recall it being rather....blasphemous!
But yeah Jesus sure roused the rabble, didn't He? He was a rebel in His own time (and still is). A table-turner-over; a temple-shaker-upper; Love it!
And not a hater: Love your enemies, remember?
Where's the Love from Russsshhhhhhh?
Or you?
Do you Love Obama?
I don't know how true this is but... It's true that other countries view the USA in a negative light for the exact reasons he would lower the flag. Nonetheless, we should be proud of our flag and our amazing country and forget what anyone else may think of us waving our flag! I do understand the reasoning behind it but I don't really agree with it although I'm not extremely upset about it... Whatever.. there's bigger issues that people should be upset about...
Many wars are also concoctions of people...
The Vietnam War....the Mexican-American War...Iraq...the Spanish-American War..
And there are the organizations that fuel wars that aren't talked about largely, or that aren't labeled as wars..
The School of the Americas..
American taxpayer dollars at work..
As for World War I and II.....imperialism breeds "inevitable" wars.
Before Europeans came to California, the very diverse population had no war.... There was little to no violence at all.
Rape, slaughter, beating were all new things that outsiders brought with them..
This is an excellent source.... I love learning about those who lived where my community now stands... The San Fernando Mission is right nearby....and the mountains I love to run through used to be populated... They were sacred places...
http://books.google.com/books?hl=en& … mp;f=false
But, Mr. Miller, it was the United States that initiated hostilities.
Johnson's own words regarding Tonkin have been widely disseminated.
An illegal war that was not inevitable.
I am so tired of people picking on whatever Obama initiates. Clearly, there is an underlying attempt to be a partner, not a savior.
No one likes Obama because he is a global citizen, which is what we all are. We do not need to flaunt our American Egos all the time. We need to defer to the idea that we are all inhabitants of this planet and not just tied to the land we live on.
One of the only reason people seem to rail against Obama is they are full of FEAR.If they do not understand something, instead of trying to find out about it, they go around like Henny Penny, screaming the sky is falling! Life is about change. There is nothing wrong with what he did in Haiti. We HAVE occupied many countries over our much overblown history. it is about time we have a leader who leads from a global perspective and is not enmeshed in ethnocentrism. We sorely need it.
"There are in fact four very significant stumblingblocks in the way of grasping the truth, which hinder every man however learned, and scarcely allow anyone to win a clear title to wisdom, namely, the example of weak and unworthy authority, longstanding custom, the feeling of the ignorant crowd, and the hiding of our own ignorance while making a display of our apparent knowledge." Rodger Bacon
Read it, learn it, live it.
He also has said " Reasoning draws a conclusion, but does not make the conclusion certain, unless the mind discovers it by the path of experience."...Europe is " experiencing " that knowledge now...Larry
DISGUSTINGLY IGNORANT COMMENTS!
"Our leader" is not Obama.
He just represents American leadership.
The "leader" is the 5 facets of American gov't: the pres, the house, the senate, the supreme court, and THE PEOPLE!
What does it take to make PEOPLE understand that?
You voted 'em in!
So who's fault is it that we're in the terrible financial condition we're in?
YOU!
WISE UP!
My father always said we have the best government money can buy.
Wrong. George W. Bush, Greenspan, Bernanke, Paulson, Countrywide, Washington Mutual, Goldman Sachs, Fannie Mae, Freddy Mac and the free market ideologues in the Clinton Administration who allowed Glass-Steagall to be repealed are responsible for the current deep recession and growing national debt. There is plenty of blame to go around, but Obama is not responsible for the economic fiasco. The American people are to blame, perhaps, for voting Bush into office. Actually, they didn't Gore got more votes and the election was stolen from him by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Ralph:
100% correct!...but WE THE PEOPLE voted all these idiots into office and allowed them to screw up like no other time since the "great depression!"
In a republic, leaders are voted into office by THE PEOPLE.
Once in office THEY RULE!
In A DEMOCRACY leaders are voted into office by the people and the PEOPLE RULE.
"We the people" vote, in the main, emotionally! Not "intelligently!"
We have no one to blame but ourselves!
As Winston Churchill said -
The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter.
Well, the biggest problem is all the money that's sloshing around in Washington and in federal, state and local elections and the swarm of lobbyists from the oil, financial, mining, auto, insurance, defense and pharmaceutical industries that wield undue influence on elections and legislation. Government-financed elections are needed to counter the influence of corporations and unions on elections, legislation and regulatory agencies.
That is just sloshingly hysterial. You think government financed elections are the answer. Ummm. And I suppose the incumbent political party of power would hold those money strings for their puppets. ?? Yeah, that would bode well for the USA.
Americans have been rather stupid the last couple of years, still are so far as I can tell as long as Barney Frank is still in office, he was surely a big jokester today as usual, but the idea of government paid elections is above and beyond and reflects the root intent and backing of much that you post. Kudos to you, you do a good job implementing your assigned tasks.
You should read up on the subject. Many people believe that the only way to counteract the undue influence of corporations on our government is to provide for government financing of elections.
Yes, and "many people" think everyone should pay 100% taxes and have big daddy government do everything, cause after all they know best...
"Many people" smoke crack too
Ha Ha. Choke. You should seek a deferment of duty until you can provide legit support of how the US government can and should be in control of our elections as opposed to our citizens ... great examples out there in other 'lesser' nations that control their elections...
Nobody's suggesting that the government "control the elections," but that control be taken back from special interests who now exert too much control over elections. As is currently provided, candidates who have demonstrated significant voter support would be provided with campaign funds by the government in return for limiting campaign fund expenditures from other sources. The recent Supreme Court decision which permits unlimited contributions from corporations and unions as if they were citizens would be reversed to the extent possible by campaign finance reform.
All candidates would be funded identically under any proposal I've seen. That is, any candidate that has demonstrated significant voter support.
"Government-financed elections are needed "
HAHAHAHHAAAAHhahahhahahahahahahaHAHAAHAAHAHAHHhahaahhahaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!
Ralph:
I'm sure you have studied the "Rothschilds."
Paraphrase: He who controls $..CONTROLS!
THE "BUCK" creates ABSOLUTE power and ABSOLUTE power corrupts...ABSOLUTELY!
I am certain that there exists a "cabal" that has as it's goal world domination.
That domination can be attained by owning and controlling world economics.
There are 2 salient power characteristics extant at this moment that should concern the "thinkers" among us:
1. Greed
2. Monotheism
They are both grounded in the subject: abject, primitive IGNORANCE!
Sab...I am so glad to see an eager student.
Page 327? You've been reading ahead! I only expected you to be up to 315 by now.
But, remember, the five page paper on pathetic responses to critical thought is still due by Friday at midnight...
Concerning United Fruit...who do you think the SOA graduates support?
It is the proposed land reform in Honduras by the still ousted President that brought about his downfall.. United Fruit's offspring, Dole, Del Monte, and Chiquita still control the land.
Good question.... I'm glad to see that you are making the connections.
I'm also encouraged to see older folk like yourself still engaging in the education process... So many, I have found, are content with reaching a certain point in their lives and letting their minds just "settle in."
You definitely are a shining star!
A slap in the face to all Americans...Thanks, Obama
Obama was elected by the majority of the Americans; if they don't want him is the office; can't they change him peacefully and constitutionally.
So, go ahead and change him, if you could
Thanks
I am an Ahmadi peaceful Muslim
Hey Ralph, you left out one thing? A solution for fixing the problem. The Government doesn't make money, it spend what it makes and more. The only money Government has to play with is the money received from the taxpayer and yet the debt continues to grow.
The time to start doing something to reduce the deficit by reducing expenditures and/or increasing taxes is when we are sure we are on the way to a recovery from the recession. I completely agree that we should be worrying about the increasing debt and develop realistic plans to deal effectively with it.
Well, I completely agree that it will be crucial to deal with the deficit once we are sure we are coming out of the recession. This will mean expenditure reductions and/or tax increases, probably both. The first place I would cut would be in the military budget which has continued to increase although the Cold War ended 30 years ago. Despite the end of the Cold War we have continued weapons programs based on assumptions of threats that are no longer likely to occur. I have no doubt that there are plenty of other places to cut, but I suspect both expenditure cuts and tax increases will be required.
If being pretentious and self-obsessed were an Olympic sport you'd be bringing home the gold. Not sure for which country, since you hate the one you live in (where you are only able to live due to the support of your Mom and Dad) but you'd be bringing it home somewhere...
No person on hubpages will take away your gold medal sab oh.
You have held the gold for as long as all your sock puppets have been here!
Being pretentious and self-obsessed is your ace in the hole!
Boring and so Lame. Surely you can come up with a better strategy to denigrate conservatives or independent Americans who do not agree with you and your cohorts?
He was referring to the troll, in case you didn't know it. And what the heck does "Obsurd" mean?
Are you trying to come off as a really cool joke -- an Absurd/Obsurd Joke. Perhaps a poll for a new life direction would serve us all well.
I'm not trying to come off as anything! What's your excuse?
Yes - you all should stop criticising the trolls on this thread - it doesn't like it !
The government is supposed to be by the people for the people - so what is difficult to understand here ? the choice is whether you choose your president from a tiny group of rich-as-s**t guys, or their chosen puppet, or let a few people in with the ability to think.
At the moment super-rich decide who runs your country without any challenge from outside their club.
......and you object to the current President, voted in by the People? Terribly confusing. A year and half ago the system worked, but now..... it doesn't?
I don't object to anything, and never said anything like that. I commented on the choices you are allowed for your President.
I am English and our system is maybe a little better for getting a cross section of people into Parliament, but this means we get professional politicians who would be great as civil servants but not as leaders - is my own opinion.
false flag waving patriotism - what a pain to read this ancient attitude about the U.S. being superior - so sad that there seem to be so many so called "patriots" who really identify "good" and "right" with the U.S. flag - so far from the truth it isn't even funny. True patriots don't need to wave a flag around in order to know who they are!
Ah. So you are in favor of lowering our national flag, perhaps burying it, as an example to all the other nations of this world who can only wish they were the United States of America. Tell that to our military -- they all need to know this is the new Demoratic party lie! oops, meant 'line'.

Fourteen Defining
Characteristics Of Fascism
By Dr. Lawrence Britt
Source Free Inquiry.co
5-28-3
Dr. Lawrence Britt has examined the fascist regimes of Hitler (Germany), Mussolini (Italy), Franco (Spain), Suharto (Indonesia) and several Latin American regimes. Britt found 14 defining characteristics common to each:
1. Powerful and Continuing Nationalism - Fascist regimes tend to make constant use of patriotic mottos, slogans, symbols, songs, and other paraphernalia. Flags are seen everywhere, as are flag symbols on clothing and in public displays.
2. Disdain for the Recognition of Human Rights - Because of fear of enemies and the need for security, the people in fascist regimes are persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of "need." The people tend to look the other way or even approve of torture, summary executions, assassinations, long incarcerations of prisoners, etc.
3. Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause - The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial , ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc.
4. Supremacy of the Military - Even when there are widespread
domestic problems, the military is given a disproportionate amount of government funding, and the domestic agenda is neglected. Soldiers and military service are glamorized.
5. Rampant Sexism - The governments of fascist nations tend to be almost exclusively male-dominated. Under fascist regimes, traditional gender roles are made more rigid. Divorce, abortion and homosexuality are suppressed and the state is represented as the ultimate guardian of the family institution.
6. Controlled Mass Media - Sometimes to media is directly controlled by the government, but in other cases, the media is indirectly controlled by government regulation, or sympathetic media spokespeople and executives. Censorship, especially in war time, is very common.
7. Obsession with National Security - Fear is used as a motivational tool by the government over the masses.
8. Religion and Government are Intertwined - Governments in fascist nations tend to use the most common religion in the nation as a tool to manipulate public opinion. Religious rhetoric and terminology is common from government leaders, even when the major tenets of the religion are diametrically opposed to the government's policies or actions.
9. Corporate Power is Protected - The industrial and business aristocracy of a fascist nation often are the ones who put the government leaders into power, creating a mutually beneficial business/government relationship and power elite.
10. Labor Power is Suppressed - Because the organizing power of labor is the only real threat to a fascist government, labor unions are either eliminated entirely, or are severely suppressed.
11. Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts - Fascist nations tend to promote and tolerate open hostility to higher education, and academia. It is not uncommon for professors and other academics to be censored or even arrested. Free expression in the arts and letters is openly attacked.
12. Obsession with Crime and Punishment - Under fascist regimes, the police are given almost limitless power to enforce laws. The people are often willing to overlook police abuses and even forego civil liberties in the name of patriotism. There is often a national police force with virtually unlimited power in fascist nations.
13. Rampant Cronyism and Corruption - Fascist regimes almost always are governed by groups of friends and associates who appoint each other to government positions and use governmental power and authority to protect their friends from accountability. It is not uncommon in fascist regimes for national resources and even treasures to be appropriated or even outright stolen by government leaders.
14. Fraudulent Elections - Sometimes elections in fascist nations are a complete sham. Other times elections are manipulated by smear campaigns against or even assassination of opposition candidates, use of legislation to control voting numbers or political district boundaries, and manipulation of the media. Fascist nations also typically use their judiciaries to manipulate or control elections.
From Liberty Forum
Sounds very ominous to me.
I am sure many in here will dispute this as it is not how we as Americans like to be perceived.
According to some who post here, they do not care how we are perceived by other countries!
This is true. Whether people wish to be judged they will be judged nonetheless.
"The test of every religious, political, or educational system, is the man which it forms. If a system injures the intelligence it is bad. If it injures the character it is vicious. If it injures the conscience it is criminal."
Henri Frederic Amiel
Line for line these plans are being implemented or being practiced in our government right now.
Yes the Socailists alway co-opt thier perverted brand of patriotism, (Nationalism), into thier movement and end in fascism.
While cliaming all the way they are the patriots ...
Don't forget to wash that flag beforfe you wrap yourself up, Chrs.
Socialist movements end in facism?
WTF you be smokin?
Yeah, Franco was such a socialist wasn't he?
Oh so you do see... jokes do not cover your defecit Ron...
Your answers just prove your on the wrong side of the reasoning, ron.
And your posts prove that you are not the lead dog in your photo.
"I say hang him and his wife right beside Carter."
Yeah, you are voice of reason TM! Voted for Palin, I bet! LOLOLO!
Hi Ron -
Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.
I have been collecting up quotes recently and this seemed so apt I couldn't resist !
He voted for Palin? How much would you like to bet?
Let me guess you think you voted for Biden
I just love these smiley faces
Sure, I voted Obama-Biden and glad I did. Do I think TM voted McCain- Palin? You betcha!
And you?
You don't vote for vice president, like a case of herpes they come like old luggage!
But, you knew that, I'm sure,
And the bet was for how much?
That is why I wrote it like I did, TM! When you vote for a candidate you also vote for their running mate, no matter how you hate to admit you voted for Palin. Otherwise, why put their names on the ballot at all?
And your vote? Did you support the "Maverick and the Rogue?"
I voted for McCain Palin... and it killed me to do that.
Do you actually call that a choice... Obama or McCain? Thats like a liberal and a progressive... what choice is that.
I am not one, to not vote.
That doesn't mean I agreed with or like the choices. But the lesser of the two evils is the liberal, not the progressive.
Certainly. it is a matter of opinion! And I have mine also! Can you imagine Palin with control of our nuclear weapons?
That's almost as scary as Obama trying to repair the economy! No, wait, nothing is that scary!
Again, a matter of opinion! Look what a mess Dumbya caused and he isn't near as dumb as Palin, close, but not as dumb!
Does he think he votes for a Vice president too?
No, Cheney thought for him! But you knew that of course! Who does your thinking for you? Rush and Glenn? LOLOL!
Rush and Glenn? Oh, no, I do my own thinking, you should try it.
No thanks, it doesn't seem to be working out too well for you!
Works great for me, I know who and what I vote for, I can spell, I don't spend my time reading gibberish that mind numbed shills write...Oooops
Two out of three ain't bad!
Works great for you? Depends on how you look at it!
Well, take your blinders off and look!
Can't do it, can ya?
Yep, took another look and I stand by my opinion!
Much quicker and easier on the mind to imagine Palin in control of Nukes, rather than Biden. Both pretty boys/girls with a quick smile. Difference is Biden has made a career of playing the dumbass, who knows what he really is, Palin is real and has shown quite a bit of growth as a leader, so it will be interesting, the years to come..............
We finally agree on something! Yes, Palin isn't playing a dumbass, she is sincere! LOL!
And Biden is authentic and in full dumbass stride...it is his destiny, and he embraces it!
...and Biden is faking everyone out! Is he a closet intellect? A closet Socialist? No, just a dumbass with a smile and a dim wit and knows when to say fudge for the best poltical gain.
Again, no one has ever tried to say that Biden was intelligent...
Yeah, they have! They were lying of course but they did say it.
I know why you wrote it the way you did, but that doesn't change the fact that you didn't vote for vice President. TM? Too Mean? Too Masculine? Tit man?
I will forgive the debt, its probably a regional thing.
I actually thought it was coming with Bush.
I think it's ok now.
Government Control of Your uterus, or fascism? Which did you think was coming? Caused you to cower in fear? Caused you to deeply empathize with Americans who lost their hope and change of life in retirement? Oops, I don't know that you do empathize with American dreams lost, or even know that it is Clinton's era that de-regulized (word?) our banks and hybrid financial institutions under the umbrella of making life better for you.......and me, and everyone...
... the punch line was good, but it was a lie, and Chris Dodd and Harry Reid and Barney Frank know it better than anyone else.
Your uterus under attack and fascism in the wings? Both bogus claims, of course you may be intellectually superior and have great insight into the Bush Administration and the curent Obama Admin, perhaps even have hindsight into the Clinton years of Bush #1 economic growth that Clinton snow-boarded on for years. If so, do tell us about the Clinton years, the Bush years, etc....we are all waiting for more education and insight from insiders.
Bush#1 used the same old Reganomics "trickle down" theory. In your scenario it took twelve years for the plan to work and it just happened to work while Clinton was in office. Yeah, right! And how did Dumbya's economic plan work out?
"We are not heading for a recession, our economy is fundamentally sound." Dumbya said this right before his dupes put him in for a second term. LOL!
Well, if you like to use the 'Dumbya' reference to our past president, George Bush, then I would suggest that you realize that the likes of Reid and Dodd still maintained control for much of his term, and I'm not sure how supportive it is to your position that the 'intellectual wunderkinds' of the likes of Reid and Dodd directed the country during much of his second term -- and are Blatantly in Control Now!
Morons, Obama has Morons on his HubPages Team........
Do you even know who controlled congress during the majority of Dumbyas two terms, or are you just guessing again!
So you like to be Chris and emote at times! Informative.
Uhh, Obama said the same thing, during the recession!
And your answer on the number of years Democrats were in control of congress under Dumbya? You seem to have missed that question somehow?
"the 'intellectual wunderkinds' of the likes of Reid and Dodd directed the country during much of his second term -- and are Blatantly in Control Now!"
What about the first four years of Dumbya's term?
They were certainly in control when the economy tanked!
You know, when Dodd was strongarming Countrywide for a SUHWEEEEET mortgage.
Amnesia the first six years, Huh. What's your excuse for when Bush had both houses of congress to help him pass his "brilliant" economic plans? What great thing did he do? Oh yeah, gave the rich huge tax rebates. What a plan! And how did that work out for the economy?
My answer? You asked that? You really want it exposed here that for the entire second term of the Bush Admin. the Dems were in control. That furthers your inane arguments? Well then, that is interesting. I would have thought you all knew that, or are you misremembering.
Were you aware that Bush wanted Freddie and Fannie put under the Treasury Dept and controlled, so clearly were they sucking wind and loving their derivatives? and setting a national financial example? Your Dems said Uh Uh.
You disregarded the last question as seems to be your style. What excuse do you have for when Bush had both houses of congress to solve all of America's problems?
Yeah Clinton... what a joke. Thank you bill... we needed the chinese to have inter-contennental bullistic missle tech... yes thank you left.
I say hang him and his wife right beside Carter.
Yeah, just like we needed to give Israel nukes! That really calmed down things in the Middle East, didn't it.
Hmmm...didn't we admonish Russia for doing the same with Cuba?
So, you'd rather your Muslim buddy have nukes? Okay, doesn't surprise me.
If I had my druthers, I would rather no one had them. And where did you see the Muslims were my buddies? Take another one of your idiotic polls? LOL!
That is just "Obsurd"! Brenda, is that you? LOL!
Brenda? No, I'm Katie, you need to improve your reading comprehension, perhaps some government aid would help.
And if you had your 'druthers', that no one had nukes, no doubt we all really would, why are you so quiet on the Muslim front? Frightened? Quick to trash any religion but Muslim? Sounds like the current Administration. Why?
"Brenda? No, I'm Katie, you need to improve your reading comprehension, perhaps some government aid would help."
That's "Obsurd" too! LOL! I read you loud and clear!
I would re-stock Israel every year with the top tech and weaponry available.
I do not doubt that, TM! Perhaps they will use them to kill millions of people and you'll finally get your jollies! LOL!
"Palin is real and has shown quite a bit of growth as a leader, so it will be interesting, the years to come.............."

Well, no one has ever said intelligence is necessary in a president.

Ran across this video of a child and his mom on a bike ride. The child comes upon an American flag he stops to pull it out and toss it on the ground, as mom calmly looks on. So, let me share what I felt --- sick, disgusted, mad, and so glad I was not witnessing this in person. Because...

Certainly the American flag does not stand for socialism, nor does it stand for the Marxist principles advanced by the United Natiions; principles that this government endorsed by its participation in the creation of the United Nations. The Human Rights of the UN have replaced the Bill of Rights....
