Is it now illegal to protest the war? Arrest and Asset seizure?

   I just saw a disturbing video on youtube where a caller mentioned that G.W Bush has passed a law that makes it illegal to protest a war and that if caught doing so, you will find yourself arrested and all of your assets seized.

   The guy on C-Span just cuts the caller off for bringing it up. 
   Scary stuff.  This happened a year ago, someone please tell me that this isn't true.

   I also am hearing that if the democrats were to bring impeachment hearings against W, that he would unleash an airstrike on Iran, declare a national emergency, institute Martial Law and cancel the elections.

      I would not doubt that W would launch an airstrike against Iran so the nation would, theoretically, rally around the Commander in Chief. But I don't see anyone accepting martial law. I must say, though, that I've been wondering what Boy George would do if Barack Obama wins on Nov. 4. I just can't believe that his merry band of neocons would go quietly.

   If you go by bush's executive orders there is no government as we know it, but only a dictatorship.

Bush supposedly nixed an attack on Iran by Israel in April/May. Maybe he not quite that crazy. Do believe he thinks about the history books. But Cheney is that crazy. Believe that's why they have Gates around.

   that he and others tried to overthrow us gov in 1934. Don't mention that he is the guy that recruited Nixion into politics. And was prob behind Eisenhower.

    Nothing wrong in George Bush signing the decree prohibiting protests against war.  When war itself is aimed at trimming the enemy, how will it be justified to allow protests at home ?  In almost all the countries, emergency is being declalred during war and civil rights suspended.  It is better for the Americans to be allowed to comment on the Govt.  The countries attacked by Bush are all erratic. Their only aim is to terrorise the world.  Will it be wise to allow these? If all countries succumb to terrorism, the next target will be America. Wise to take preemptive action.

       You have consistently demonstrated a total ignorance of everything you comment on. The United States has troops in 130 countries. And of course there is something wrong with the President of the USA deciding what subjects you are allowed to speak and protest about.
       
       Pre-emptive action against non-aggressors who lack the ability to attack you is so short-sighted and expensive as to be positively insane.

                India and America will always be friendly because of our proximity with democracy. Please dont dream wildly that even if India is not currently on the list and that can change.
                Your President will change and your offensive policies will certainly change for your good.
                Regarding Pakistan, you have already said preemptive action against nonagressors, who lack ability to attack you is short-sighted, expensive and positively insane.
