Hi Oly. It is nice to chat with you once more.

The importance of the presidential election is over estimated and over sold in the USA. The uniquely popular feature of the Presidency is that this office is the only one for which all Americans get to vote, but it is far from the most powerful office in the land. Examine our government as structured by the Constitution and you discover the Congress has far more power then the President and this is what makes our nation so strong. Therefore, the people can and will win back their country only if they focus more on Congressional and less on the Presidential candidates.

No links. No media sources! ( as requested.) lol

Very true Quilligrapher, yet for some reason it seems that our Congress does not take on the responsibilities that it holds.

I would personally like to see the Senate revert back to representing the States and have the House represent the people.  As a Union of fifty sovereign states, I do not understand why these "States" do not have representation!

"The Senate of the United States shall be composed of two Senators from each State, chosen by the Legislature thereof, for six Years.
US Constitution, Article I, Section 3, Clause 1"

This was how the Senate operated prior to 1913, which I am sure you already know.  smile

You can gripe and moan all you want to, but the government is way bigger than you, so no matter how enormous your gonads are, there is nothing you can do about it.  Voting Republican or Democrat is irrelevant.

"We the people" is how the U.S. Constitution starts. You know, the document that designed our government.

It's not perfect. Heck no. And the calcification that's built up is frustrating.

But We the People is our government.

It seems anti-American to me to treat our government as a foreign enemy. Also, self-defeating, quite literally.

Is it anti-American to treat the government as a foreign enemy when that is essentially the case anyway? I can not think of a bigger enemy to the American people than their own government right now. The people didn't ask for their civil liberties to be taken away and for their currency to be destroyed.

The people in our government have forgotten one very important fact - they work for us.

We need to start thinking of our government officials as that idiot employee that does everything wrong unless watched and guided closely. Then, once they screw up, fire their butts and send them home with nothing more than what they showed up with and a boot imprint on the seat of their pants.

Reality bytes, anonymous is based in and organized by the members of 4chan. That site demonstrates their idea of freedom... From all rules and conventios.

You can't bounce away from 4chan as a place you'd never go, but support and listen to anonymous. It's the same people, and 4chan is the sort of thing they find fun! It's the home base of anonymous.

Get a little more educated about anonymous before you start waving their banner, eh? And also, I think they wouldn't take kindly to your equating them with pedophiles, though they're liable to hack into your website and replace the logo with Pedobear for the "lulz".(You do understand that most of what they do is for the "lulz", right? And you are fully conversant with what "lulz" are?)

I was not trying to equate Anonymous with sexual deviants.  My point was that just because one football coach is a deviant, that does not make every football coach a deviant.

      From AnonNews - Everything Anonymous:

      "Anonymous is merely a name.

We are a named group. That is it. We do not keep a membership list for the obvious reason of being anonymous. Anyone can participate in our actions. We are not responsible for the actions of any individual, there is no one to take that responsibility but that individual himself. Anonymous is the mask, and our actions speak for themselves."
