Recycled paper Cards.

Updated on August 24, 2017

Lets do some good.

With all the talks about global warming and pollution, it is pretty clear that we need to do some serious recycling. Because everything little thing we recycle, will not only save energy sources and nature but also reduce tons of wastage. And since paper is the most essential recycled product, i thought of bringing it to use not only for holidays and events but also everyday. So let go of all those internet greeting sites and electronic log books. We're going to make fun and creative cards out of recycled paper. Lets do something good, lets do something for Mother Earth :).

My Focus

Cards made from recycled paper. Add some embellishments and charm to that left over paper and turn it into a beautiful warm greeting card. And just not holidays, you can make everyday cards and even invitations. Below you'll find lots of ideas and tutorials.

Lets gather up some stuff.

Before you start working on the cards, there are some tools you'll need. Plus different types of paper (whatever you can find). I've listed whatever possible things i could think of. Use these for your creation.

  • Paper (can be metallic, colored paper, textured or craft sheet etc).
  • Glue.
  • Scissors.
  • Picture cutouts from magazines or calenders etc.
  • Old pieces of jewelry (even broken ones will do).
  • Beads, lace trims etc.
  • Thread (optional/depends on design).
  • Glitter pens (mostly come in handy).
  • Paints and color pencils (optional/depend on design).
  • Stamps (like the ones used for block prints on fabric, optional/depends on design).

How does recycling paper help?

In many ways. A bundle of those old magazines can save hours of electricity use. And i believe today's youth really needs to understand the importance and impact of recycling. Click here to find out more.
