This is firsthand footage of Visitor Safety Specialists from Banff /Yoho/Kootenay National Parks conducting a technical helicopter rescue after the lead climber of a rock climbing party took a 60-foot fall and suffered multiple injuries. They are four pitches up "Dan's Delight," a 5.7 rock climb on Cascade Mountain near the town of Banff, Alberta.

A Rescue Video from Washington State: Wallace Falls Rescue Mission
13-year-old boy rescued from a narrow ledge above a 270-foot waterfall
While wading in the Wallace River, a boy was swept away and over a 10-foot waterfall. He managed to get a foothold on a narrow ledge before being swept over the 270-foot falls, with his back against the rock and his toes in the water. This short video shows the heroic efforts of the Snohomish County Sheriff's Search and Rescue volunteers in responding to the call for help.
