Celebrate Spring Come Again

Updated on February 2, 2013

Arrival of Spring As Every Year

Ok, spring in 2013 will soon be here in Virginia and East Coast. It is a season of rebirth, renewal and a time of glad tidings spiritually for all inspired by nature's return of this season between winter and summer.

At the spring equinox, days are close to 12 hours lin awith day length increasing as the season progresses.

Earth's Tilt Toward the Sun Triggers Spring

In spring, the axis of the Earth is increasing its tilt toward the Sun.

And the length of daylight rapidly increases for the relevant hemisphere such as where North America is located geographically with USA, Canada and Mexico. .

A Science Perspective of Spring Come Again

According to Wikipdia, While spring is a result of the warmth caused by the turning of the Earth's axis,.the weather in many parts of the world is overlain by events which appear very erratic taken on a year-to-year basis.

The rainfall in spring (or any season) follows trends more related to longer cycles or events created by ocean currents and ocean temperatures.

Good and well-researched examples are the El Niño effect.

Many a severe storm, even hurricanes are born in spring or summer in the warm waters of the Gulf or the Gulf Stream River moving north near the Atlatnic Coast of USA .

Torandos can appear in short notice with a force that often is unexpected for the unprepared - Preparations necessary on a community and family levels for sever

Here in the east coast, we often have to brace for a severe storm or hurricane, even tornado for which early preprations are ncesssary on a community and family level.

Let us pray that this risk of erractic weather during spring will not keep us from enjoying the warmth, festivity and glad tiding of this favorite season of the year.

Nature's Battle of forces of good and forces of evil goes even with the coming of spring.

Let us serve in the force4goo, but be prepared for the force4evi as we welcome spring once again with celebration & gratitude to Nature's mysterious and wonderous ways .

I have researched the Hurricane/Tornado Preparation issue recently as this has risen to a priority issue in my State, Virginia. What I found is that the best prepared state for hurricanes and also for tornado is the State of Florida. Lessons learned in Florida can be helpful for other States, County and communites to be well prepared in case these sudden weather patterns hits in spring or summer.

Yes, there is "evil force" in nature such as a tornado that can kill men, women and childrend when caught unprepared.

A hush is over everything, Silent as women wait for love; The world is waiting for the spring. Sara Teasdale

A Prayer in Spring - by Robert Frost

OH, give us pleasure in the flowers today;

And give us not to think so far away

As the uncertain harvest; keep us here

All simply in the springing of the year.

Oh, give us pleasure in the orcahrd white,

Like nothing else by day, like ghosts by night;

And make us happy in the happy bees,

The swarm dilating round the perfect trees.

And make us happy in the darting bird

That suddenly above the bees is heard,

The meteor that thrusts in with needle bill,

And off a blossom in mid air stands still.

For this is love and nothing else is love,

To which it is reserved for God above

To sanctify to what far ends he will,

But which it only needs that we fulfill.

As sure as the spring will follow the winter, prosperity and economic growth will follow recession. Bo Bennett

A Light exists in Spring

Not present on the Year

At any other period —

When March is scarcely here

A Color stands abroad

On Solitary Fields

That Science cannot overtake

But Human Nature feels.

It waits upon the Lawn,

It shows the furthest Tree

Upon the furthest Slope you know

It almost speaks to you.

Then as Horizons step

Or Noons report away

Without the Formula of sound

It passes and we stay —

A quality of loss

Affecting our Content

As Trade had suddenly encroached

Upon a Sacrament.
