Environment - Green Issues - Disasters Beyond our Control.
There is so much of it happening around the world, damage to the earth, due to the weather.
We have no control over what mother nature delivers to us, it causes many problems in the environment.
You can spend thousand of dollars getting the clean green image, making the world livable for future generations and it can be all destroyed in hours.
Flooding due to heavy rain costs a fortune to repair, in some cases it never gets cleaned up, it is left to nature to repair by new growth, other times like this photo above it has to be repaired because of septic tank leaking into the waterways.
We can try and keep above it all but somewhere along the line there has to be a change somewhere.
One thing for sure we can't change the weather, or can we?
We can only forecast the weather and prepare human life for the flooding, then leave it to mother-nature and hope after the storm that there's no damage, but in most cases there's so much carnation that it is heart breaking.
It is happening far too often these days, is that globe-warming?

Babies Cloth Diapers - Save money.
When I had my children in the 1960s there was no such thing as disposable diapers.
There was no problem cleaning and washing, as a mother it comes naturally in bringing up a child to look after them and that include washing soiled nappies.
They never had sore bottoms, as once the nappy needed changing they were changed, not left to walk about and get their little bottoms chaffed.
One thing I can say, my children were easy to train using a potty and were sleeping all night with no nappies by the age of two.
There is a video below to show you how to fold a cloth diaper if you are a new mother and not sure how to do it.

Also, you won't be tempted to buy a whole load of stuff you probably don't need.
Say no to packaging.
Plastic bags polystyrene trays, take-away containers.
Each time you purchase a product, consider if there is another way of carrying it home.
And if you really want to make a statement, leave the packaging behind.
Going to the supermarket, take your own bags, do not use plastic bags, at one stage in New Zealand, the shops charged for using their plastic bag, but supermarkets seem to have dropped that now, but I know Warehouse still charge for the plastic bags.
I had a surprise the other day - I bought a toasted sandwich, and received it in a brown paper bag, that saving on unnecessary landfill it is easy to get rid of paper bags, maybe the times are changing.
