The Idiot Al Gore

Updated on December 20, 2013

Al Gore (aka Al Gore-zeera) is an idiot and a hypocrite.

The Goracle. Nearly everything Al Gore says is an exaggeration, a lie, or simply idiotic. Al Gore has amassed a fortune by embellishing facts and creating a cult of global warming zombies.  Al Gore claims to be a crusader against the evils of CO2 and pollution, yet he produces more pollution and CO2 in one month then a family of four does in a year. Gore claims eating beef is bad for the environment and YOU should stop, but he continues to eat meat.  Gore is flown in a private jet around the world, but preaches the destruction this causes when YOU do it.  Gore tells you to conserve power, yet his house in Tennessee is less environmentally friendly and less efficient then the "hated" George W. Bush's house in Texas.  The Irony is laughable, but what makes this sad is that people actually believe him.  Al Gore is a moron, read the articles and posts - and you decide.

A liberal tries to explain why she thinks the world will end, and what should be done about it.

This is from - if you have not seen it, please check it out! Multiple animations between a conservative and a liberal debating the issues - hilarious and so very sad.

A few more nails in the coffin for the deranged "Climate Change" religion - Oooopps, wrong again Gore!

News that questions the credibility of Global Warming.......

Great idiotic quotes from Al Gore, the moron.

Dumb, or just a pompous ass?

“These figures are fresh. Some of the models suggest to Dr [Wieslav] Maslowski that there is a 75 per cent chance that the entire north polar ice cap, during the summer months, could be completely ice-free within five to seven years.”

--- Ironically Dr. Maslowski helped further prove Al Gore "makes up" data to help perpetrate his diabolical agenda...“It’s unclear to me how this figure was arrived at,” Dr Maslowski said. “I would never try to estimate likelihood at anything as exact as this.” Wrong again, Al......

"The interior of the earth is extremely hot, several millions of degrees." - Al Gore (Nov. 12, 2009).Really Al, did you learn that at Harvard? If this was true, we would be dead, and the Earth would actually be a Star. The real temp is about 5 thousand degrees. Gore was only off by a couple of zeroes... I wonder what else he is wrong about?

"During my service in the United States Congress, I took the initiative in creating the Internet. I took the initiative in moving forward a whole range of initiatives that have proven to be important to our country's economic growth and environmental protection, improvements in our educational system." - Al Gore in an interview with Wolf Blitzer (March 1999)

Oct. 25 2000 JACKSON, Tenn. (Reuters) - Criticizing Bush's Social Security privatization plan at a rally in Tennessee, Gore said, "He is proposing to privatize a big part of Social Security and he's proposing to take $1 trillion, a million billion dollars out of the Social Security trust fund and give it as a tax incentive to young workers."

Close Al, a trillion = one thousand billion, not a million billion.

Milwaukee, WI - "I'm very familiar with the importance of dairy farming in Wisconsin. I've spent the night on a dairy farm here in Wisconsin. If I'm entrusted with the presidency, you'll have someone who is very familiar with what the Wisconsin dairy industry is all about."

(Sources: Sunday, June 18, Atlanta Journal Constitution and The Washington Post, June 14, 2000)

"A zebra does not change its spots." - Al Gore, attacking President George Bush in 1992.

(Sources: The Toronto Sun, 11/19/95; May 13th)

Al Gore, not the sharpest tool in the shed.

Is Al Gore intelligent? An argument can be made that no, he is not.... Gore had a truly remarkable 2.2 gpa at, that is a C minus average. Sure college is hard, and I know Harvard is a very difficult and demanding school, but a C minus, really Al... I guess AL just had a hard time focusing on anything but his passion of science, but he is a brilliant man now, and THE authority on climate. What was his grade in Natural Sciences at Harvard? The answer is a D. Do you still think he is an expert in anything?

Just for giggles, what were the grades of the man the liberals call the "stupidest man ever", former President George W. Bush? Bush had a 2.75 gpa at Yale. Sure that is not "Einstein" grades, but still better then the Global Warming Messiah moron.

I wonder if Gore can see the irony here..... - According to the US National Snow and Ice Data Centre in Colorado, Arctic summer sea ice has increased by 409,000

Does any body see a trend here? Record cold everywhere....

The Fiction Of Climate Science

"In 1974, the National Science Board announced: "During the last 20 to 30 years, world temperature has fallen, irregularly at first but more sharply over the last decade. Judging from the record of the past interglacial ages, the present time of high temperatures should be drawing to an end…leading into the next ice age."

Just the facts, Al, just the facts....

Great video of scientist explaining why Al Gore is so wrong about man made global warming.

Excerpts from the exposed "Climategate" emails from "scientists" at the Climate Research Unit (CRU) at the University of East An

Conspiracy? If it walks like a Duck, and talks like a Duck.......

Emails between Professor Phil Jones, the head of the Climate Research Unit, and professor Michael E. Mann at Pennsylvania State University. Doesn't get much better then this!

Clear data manipulation:

I've just completed Mike's Nature trick of adding in the real temps to each series for the last 20 years (ie from 1981 onwards) amd from 1961 for Keith's to hide the decline.

Admitting there is a problem with the "myth of global warming":

"The fact is that we can't account for the lack of warming at the moment and it is a travesty that we can't. The CERES data published in the August BAMS 09 supplement on 2008 shows there should be even more warming: but the data are surely wrong. Our observing system is inadequate."

Destroying evidence:

"Can you delete any emails you may have had with Keith re AR4?

Keith will do likewise. He's not in at the moment - minor family crisis.

Can you also email Gene and get him to do the same? I don't have his new email address.

We will be getting Caspar to do likewise."

Evidence of attempting to disguise the "inconvenient truth" of the Medieval Warm Period (MWP):

"……Phil and I have recently submitted a paper using about a dozen NH records that fit this category, and many of which are available nearly 2K back-I think that trying to adopt a timeframe of 2K, rather than the usual 1K, addresses a good earlier point that Peck made w/ regard to the memo, that it would be nice to try to "contain" the putative "MWP", even if we don't yet have a hemispheric mean reconstruction available that far back…."

Proof of the "scientists" attempting to stifle the dissent of other scientists who question the hoax:

"This was the danger of always criticising the skeptics for not publishing in the "peer-reviewed literature". Obviously, they found a solution to that-take over a journal! So what do we do about this? I think we have to stop considering "Climate Research" as a legitimate peer-reviewed journal. Perhaps we should encourage our colleagues in the climate research community to no longer submit to, or cite papers in, this journal. We would also need to consider what we tell or request of our more reasonable colleagues who currently sit on the editorial board…What do others think?"

"I will be emailing the journal to tell them I'm having nothing more to do with it until they rid themselves of this troublesome editor.""It results from this journal having a number of editors. The responsible one for this is a well-known skeptic in NZ. He has let a few papers through by Michaels and Gray in the past. I've had words with Hans von Storch about this, but got nowhere. Another thing to discuss in Nice !"

Learn the truth for yourself! - Don't believe Gore and MSNBC

The right perspective to make a better decision.

650 RESPECTED Scientists agree, Al Gore is WRONG

I thought the debate was over, Al......

"I am a skeptic, Global warming has become a new religion." - Nobel Prize Winner for Physics, Ivar Giaever.

"Since I am no longer affiliated with any organization nor receiving any funding, I can speak quite frankly….As a scientist I remain skeptical. "The main basis of the claim that man's release of greenhouse gases is the cause of the warming is based almost entirely upon climate models. We all know the frailty of models concerning the air-surface system." - Atmospheric Scientist Dr. Joanne Simpson, the first woman in the world to receive a PhD in meteorology, and formerly of NASA, who has authored more than 190 studies and has been called "among the most preeminent scientists of the last 100 years."

Warming fears are the "worst scientific scandal in the history... When people come to know what the truth is, they will feel deceived by science and scientists." - UN IPCC Japanese Scientist Dr. Kiminori Itoh, an award-winning PhD environmental physical chemist.

"The IPCC has actually become a closed circuit; it doesn't listen to others. It doesn't have open minds… I am really amazed that the Nobel Peace Prize has been given on scientifically incorrect conclusions by people who are not geologists," - Indian geologist Dr. Arun D. Ahluwalia at Punjab University and a board member of the UN-supported International Year of the Planet.

"So far, real measurements give no ground for concern about a catastrophic future warming." - Scientist Dr. Jarl R. Ahlbeck, a chemical engineer at Abo Akademi University in Finland, author of 200 scientific publications and former Greenpeace member.

"Anyone who claims that the debate is over and the conclusions are firm has a fundamentally unscientific approach to one of the most momentous issues of our time." - Solar physicist Dr. Pal Brekke, senior advisor to the Norwegian Space Centre in Oslo. Brekke has published more than 40 peer-reviewed scientific articles on the sun and solar interaction with the Earth.

"The models and forecasts of the UN IPCC "are incorrect because they only are based on mathematical models and presented results at scenarios that do not include, for example, solar activity." - Victor Manuel Velasco Herrera, a researcher at the Institute of Geophysics of the National Autonomous University of Mexico

"It is a blatant lie put forth in the media that makes it seem there is only a fringe of scientists who don't buy into anthropogenic global warming." - U.S Government Atmospheric Scientist Stanley B. Goldenberg of the Hurricane Research Division of NOAA.

"Even doubling or tripling the amount of carbon dioxide will virtually have little impact, as water vapour and water condensed on particles as clouds dominate the worldwide scene and always will." - . Geoffrey G. Duffy, a professor in the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering of the University of Auckland, NZ.

"After reading [UN IPCC chairman] Pachauri's asinine comment [comparing skeptics to] Flat Earthers, it's hard to remain quiet." - Climate statistician Dr. William M. Briggs, who specializes in the statistics of forecast evaluation, serves on the American Meteorological Society's Probability and Statistics Committee and is an Associate Editor of Monthly Weather Review.

"The Kyoto theorists have put the cart before the horse. It is global warming that triggers higher levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, not the other way round... A large number of critical documents submitted at the 1995 U.N. conference in Madrid vanished without a trace. As a result, the discussion was one-sided and heavily biased, and the U.N. declared global warming to be a scientific fact," Andrei Kapitsa, a Russian geographer and Antarctic ice core researcher.

"Nature's regulatory instrument is water vapor: more carbon dioxide leads to less moisture in the air, keeping the overall GHG content in accord with the necessary balance conditions." - Prominent Hungarian Physicist and environmental researcher Dr. Miklós Zágoni reversed his view of man-made warming and is now a skeptic. Zágoni was once Hungary's most outspoken supporter of the Kyoto Protocol.

"For how many years must the planet cool before we begin to understand that the planet is not warming? For how many years must cooling go on?" - Geologist Dr. David Gee the chairman of the science committee of the 2008 International Geological Congress who has authored 130 plus peer reviewed papers, and is currently at Uppsala University in Sweden.

"Gore prompted me to start delving into the science again and I quickly found myself solidly in the skeptic camp... Climate models can at best be useful for explaining climate changes after the fact." - Meteorologist Hajo Smit of Holland, who reversed his belief in man-made warming to become a skeptic, is a former member of the Dutch UN IPCC committee.

"The quantity of CO2 we produce is insignificant in terms of the natural circulation between air, water and soil... I am doing a detailed assessment of the UN IPCC reports and the Summaries for Policy Makers, identifying the way in which the Summaries have distorted the science." - South Afican Nuclear Physicist and Chemical Engineer Dr. Philip Lloyd, a UN IPCC co-coordinating lead author who has authored over 150 refereed publications.

"Many [scientists] are now searching for a way to back out quietly (from promoting warming fears), without having their professional careers ruined." - Atmospheric physicist James A. Peden, formerly of the Space Research and Coordination Center in Pittsburgh.

"All those urging action to curb global warming need to take off the blinkers and give some thought to what we should do if we are facing global cooling instead" - Geophysicist Dr. Phil Chapman, an astronautical engineer and former NASA astronaut, served as staff physicist at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology)

"Creating an ideology pegged to carbon dioxide is a dangerous nonsense... The present alarm on climate change is an instrument of social control, a pretext for major businesses and political battle. It became an ideology, which is concerning." - Environmental Scientist Professor Delgado Domingos of Portugal, the founder of the Numerical Weather Forecast group, has more than 150 published articles.

"CO2 emissions make absolutely no difference one way or another….Every scientist knows this, but it doesn't pay to say so…Global warming, as a political vehicle, keeps Europeans in the driver's seat and developing nations walking barefoot." - Dr. Takeda Kunihiko, vice-chancellor of the Institute of Science and Technology Research at Chubu University in Japan.

"The [global warming] scaremongering has its justification in the fact that it is something that generates funds." - Award-winning Paleontologist Dr. Eduardo Tonni, of the Committee for Scientific Research in Buenos Aires and head of the Paleontology Department at the University of La Plata.

"Whatever the weather, it's not being caused by global warming. If anything, the climate may be starting into a cooling period." Atmospheric scientist Dr. Art V. Douglas, former Chair of the Atmospheric Sciences Department at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, and is the author of numerous papers for peer-reviewed publications.

"But there is no falsifiable scientific basis whatever to assert this warming is caused by human-produced greenhouse gasses because current physical theory is too grossly inadequate to establish any cause at all." - Chemist Dr. Patrick Frank, who has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed articles.

"The 'global warming scare' is being used as a political tool to increase government control over American lives, incomes and decision making. It has no place in the Society's activities." - Award-Winning NASA Astronaut/Geologist and Moonwalker Jack Schmitt who flew on the Apollo 17 mission and formerly of the Norwegian Geological Survey and for the U.S. Geological Survey.

"Earth has cooled since 1998 in defiance of the predictions by the UN-IPCC.. .The global temperature for 2007 was the coldest in a decade and the coldest of the millennium... which is why 'global warming' is now called 'climate change.'" - Climatologist Dr. Richard Keen of the Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences at the University of Colorado.

"I have yet to see credible proof of carbon dioxide driving climate change, yet alone man-made CO2 driving it. The atmospheric hot-spot is missing and the ice core data refute this. When will we collectively awake from this deceptive delusion?" - Dr. G LeBlanc Smith, a retired Principal Research Scientist with Australia's CSIRO.

Great Policy Article from the Tennessee Center for Policy Research (Feb 2007)

"Gore's home uses more than 20 times the national average

Last night, Al Gore's global-warming documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, collected an Oscar for best documentary feature, but the Tennessee Center for Policy Research has found that Gore deserves a gold statue for hypocrisy.

Gore's mansion, located in the posh Belle Meade area of Nashville, consumes more electricity every month than the average American household uses in an entire year, according to the Nashville Electric Service (NES).

In his documentary, the former Vice President calls on Americans to conserve energy by reducing electricity consumption at home.

The average household in America consumes 10,656 kilowatt-hours (kWh) per year, according to the Department of Energy. In 2006, Gore devoured nearly 221,000 kWh-more than 20 times the national average.

Last August alone, Gore burned through 22,619 kWh-guzzling more than twice the electricity in one month than an average American family uses in an entire year. As a result of his energy consumption, Gore's average monthly electric bill topped $1,359.

Since the release of An Inconvenient Truth, Gore's energy consumption has increased from an average of 16,200 kWh per month in 2005, to 18,400 kWh per month in 2006.

Gore's extravagant energy use does not stop at his electric bill. Natural gas bills for Gore's mansion and guest house averaged $1,080 per month last year.

"As the spokesman of choice for the global warming movement, Al Gore has to be willing to walk the walk, not just talk the talk, when it comes to home energy use," said Tennessee Center for Policy Research President Drew Johnson.

In total, Gore paid nearly $30,000 in combined electricity and natural gas bills for his Nashville estate in 2006."

Great Post from the "Sister Toldjah" site: (check it out)

More proof Gore is a crook and disingenuous.

"It’s from ST reader Great White Rat, who recently made an interesting discovery about the Goracle:

More Gore nonsense. This is from the original article in the Nasville newspaper when the story broke:

Gore helped found Generation Investment Management, through which he and others pay for offsets. The firm invests the money in solar, wind and other projects that reduce energy consumption around the globe, she said.

So just for chuckles, go google Generation Ivestment Management. And you find that its chairman is – you guessed it – still Al Gore.

In other words, unless Gore is not taking a salary from GIM – which is a for-profit company – he’s buying the ‘carbon offsets’ from himself. Or, as someone more cynical might put it, he’s just reinvesting in his own company.

It seems to be sort of a money-laundering arrangement, using the skills he demonstrated so ably back in his Buddhist-monk-campaign-contribution days."

Michael Savage On Al Gore and Global Warming

No one says it better then Michael Savage. Yes, Savage is a VERY angry man, and often looses control of his mouth. However, he was right about McCain, he was right about Bush, he is right about Gore and he is right about Obama.

A GREAT Article/Opinion by Don Surber from the Daily Mail, October 2009

"Al Gore proves himself wrong"

"Al Gore to the Society of Environmental Journalists: “We’re very close to that political tipping point. Never before in human history has a single generation been asked to make such difficult and consequential decisions.”

Yes, one generation survived the Depression, won World War II and grappled with and ultimately resolved America’s shame of 100 years of second-class citizenship for blacks after 200 years of slavery.

Al Gore’s big question is paper or plastic.

I don’t have time for this fool."

Headline news from the Copenhagen Conference fiasco

The hypocrisy is truly disgusting. The amount of CO2 produced with these morons taking private jets and personal limos (not to mention the noxious gas emitting from Al Gore) is enormous. It is okay if these people do it, but all you lemmings "stop flying, ride your bike and take public transportation". Simply amazing. The total number of electric cars or hybrids among the 1,200 limos, 5.... classic......

Do you disagree that Al Gore is an idiot... - and "man made" global warming is a hoax?

Al's poster child global warming is nothing more than a big, fat, stinky lie and he knows it. The earth has gone through multiple heat ups and a few ice ages. Man has zero control over that. Of course, we have and are continuing to pollute our home, but that's another matter entirely. Al is a charlatan, plain and simple.

Definitely a hoax. The purpose? To gain political control of the people of the world. I fail to understand the purpose in returning the world's population to the Dark Ages with massive starvation, personally.

he's an idiot but clearly smarter then all the idiots that believe a guy who thinks zebras have spots and had a d average in science is someone they should be getting their "facts" from. and he has the biggest idiots/hypocrites in the world backing his play-hollywood. that stupid movie full of half truths and out and out lies is being shown in public schools and won an oscar. the truth is the world is in a constant state of flux. even if we set off every nuke in the world simultaneously we still wouldn't destroy the planet. we would most likely make life in most are all forms as we now it extinct, but life would eventually go on again. just without us. animal life is abundant in the forests surrounding chernobyl not to mention the forest are lush again. we can't destroy life on this planet. we can't just make it so we arent here any longer. and the truth is all these scumbags like gore are as much if not more of the problem.

Only right wing status quo idiots could believe propaganda funded by oil companies. Accuse Al Gore of profiting from an environmental concept? What about Exxon? What about the elephant in the room? Their scientists know anthropomorphic climate change is real although executive policy is to subvert belief in it. Their objective is to maximize profits from the largest industry in the world. They want to suppress information as long as they can as long as dupes are plentiful. It lowers their costs - for as long as they can get away with it. Time is money. Republicans oppose environmental regulation because they fear lack of competitive advantage with China, the world's greatest polluter of all time.

@minirich: Hey Minirich - thank you for participating.

My problem with Gore is that he is profiting by marketing "Man made Global warming". Gore tells people what they "must do to save the polar bears", but he flies around on his private jet, uses more electricity (fossil fuels) then 4 times the average American, and is part of a company that profits by brokering "carbon offsets" (one company sells their alotted carbon usage to another company, Gore takes a percent of the transaction... good gig, if you can force companies to do it). Glaciers covered most of North America and Europe at one time, did Man melt them 10,000 years ago?

@tonerock what kind of student are you, they who don't know on which side of the continent is which ocean?

I used to live near a glacier, now i don't live near to it anymore (i did not move). In the past 20 years it melted away, about 1.8 miles. And this is not natural warming.

I agree in some ways is Al Gore an idiot, but at least he says that there is something to be done.

I agree. Have a look at the glacial record of our current ice age, averaging around 90,000 years glacial (cold) and 15,000 years interglacial (warm). Time is just about up for this warm period. Investigate, do your own research. As an ex student in geology it makes me sick to hear people say we are heading for Venus like conditions on advice from politicians, and scientists who are after grant money. Don't believe everything you hear on this subject, find out for yourself.

I absolutely disagree. Al Gore is the man who tried to wake America up and realise the damage that USA is doing to the world's environment. What I see here is a large amount of conservative vs liberal politics sprinkled with a little pseudo science from people who oppose Gore on the basis of his political colour and simply don't want to listen. If America wasn't so greedy for fossil fuels, maybe there would never have been ANY offshore oil exploration in the Gulf of Mexico.

I completely agree. The climate has always changed and will always continue to change regardless of what politicians and scare mongers will have you believe. While it is not politically correct to be a "Skeptic", I have a great issue with the politicisation and profiteering from the climate change issue. I have researched this issue in depth and am completely horrified by how much the issue has been dumbed down and blurred in the name of politics. The fact remains that the earths climate has been far warmer than today, even in recent history (look up "Medieval Warming" if you don't believe me. The earths climate was cooling for hundreds of years up to the early 20th century, it then warmed up a bit during the 20th century and has been cooling again since 1998. THe graphs you have been lead to believe (by Al Gore et al.) show climate warming have been proved to be invalid by independent statisticians yet all the latest literature around climate change still reference them and each other to reinforce their argument. You need to look back further than the past 100 years to determine if the climate is irregular, it is not. Proper scientific studies using myriad geological techniques (tree rings, glacial records, pollen sedimentation, stalagmites, peat bogs, fossilised plants, grape agriculture, mountain tree lines and more) all show that the current climate changes are neither unexpected or unprecedented.

The problem today is a combination of overpopulation and unsustainable agriculture. We are no longer capable of changing agricultural practices fast enough in a way that can continue to sustain the huge global population. Corporations that control the agriculture are pushing for government investment to support them as they become less profitable and a global scare campaign about climate change is a good way to go it.

Don't get me wrong, I am all for less waste and more sustainable living but until the world stops accepting capitalist growth models as the only accepted measure of success, the world is going to have larger and larger problems trying to feed (and water) its increasingly demanding population.
